I have been at Abbey Park for over three years. My home includes a comfort private apartment along with a library, theatre, salon, chapel, fitness area and other amenities. Many friends and a friendly staff provides meals, transportation, entertainment, Therapy and Helping Hands available if needed. A place that makes living a pleasant adventure..Country Living with a smile..

We are new just arrived last bc Fri and find everything great!!

My mom’s room was very clean when she moved in and if there were any issues it was handled promptly and professionally. Our mom enjoyed all her meals. This entire staff of Abbey Park made my mom feel as if she was their only client. Always courteous and caring. Thank you Abbey Park for making our mom feel so loved.

This place is outstanding! Brenda, Ron, Kristi, and Sarah are the leaders that ensure every resident is treated kindly. The entire staff really cares about the residents and knows everyone's names. The building and common areas are always being cleaned. This place always smells fresh and clean. There is always something to do at Abbey Park at Mill River. There are exercise classes, crafts, games, entertainment, trips, an on-site church, bible studies, movies, etc. You never get bored. The food is amazing and always with great deserts. When I chose Abbey Park for my Dad, I looked at a lot of places - and Abbey Park at Mill River was so much better than the others. They also have visiting doctors, on-site physical therapy, and an on-site assisting staff for any special medical needs. It's a great place to live!

Abbey Park Mill River is something special. Great staff that really care about the residents. The layout of the rooms gives you a lot of variety/options. All the rooms have nice decks or patios. The food is really good here with lots of variety and frequent "fun nights" such as this year's Hawaiian Luau. I looked at a lot of different options for my Dad's retirement and this place was heads and shoulders above the rest. Ron and Brenda are they "dynamic duo" who help in every way. There is always something to do - activities, trips, guest entertainment. They even have church services and bible studies. Cleaning teams are everywhere and the building's bathrooms and common areas alway look and smell clean and fresh. On site physical therapy, doctor visits, and assisted living are there to help with whatever medical situation arises. And ..... They have a huge generator so you never lose power! Thank you Abbey Park

My daughter and SIL rented the respite apartment when they moved. It was outstanding! Clean, comfortable and fully equipped. It was nice to come back to Abbey Park each evening to a totally relaxing environment. I’d recommend it to anyone !

My mom has been at Abbey Park for two years now. It was a difficult decision but Abbey Park made the transition as seemless as possible. I've come to have a great deal of respect for the staff. They've done a remarkable job taking care of my mom and her advancing dementia needs. The Administrator, Kristi Reed, it absolutely incredible and always gives 110% when I need her. I credit her with saving my mom's life due to her over-and-above diligence during an unexpected emergency. Kristi is one of a kind. I'm very happy I moved my mom to Abbey Park and after a settling in period, my mom also really loves it there. Thank you Abbey Park!

Abbey Park at Mill River was a beautiful facility. There were a bunch of people hanging out and enjoying each other's company. It looked like they were very calm and happy there. Their dining room was very beautiful with a little snack shop in there. It looked like a great place. The apartments were more than big enough. I saw a one-bedroom apartment and I thought it was a good size. It had beautiful laminate flooring and windows that looked out over the courtyard. It looked like a very nice, cozy apartment, but generous in size. Then the amenities that they had available were easy to get to and looked like a lot of fun. I could see somebody enjoying living there. The staff was very, very polite and you can tell that they very much care about the residents. It also seemed that they have a lot of amenities. They encourage social gatherings and they even have a little mentor program where somebody new would be paired up with somebody who's been there for a while, who will kind of show them around and encourage them to participate in events and stuff. I just thought that's great. They have a crafting room for anybody who likes to sew/knit, a studio for yoga or exercising (it's nice and big), and a beauty parlor where they can make an appointment. It's pretty inexpensive, but they have a lot of great amenities.
