3.6 · 17 reviewsMy siblings and I were very pleased with the quality of loving care our mother received at Elena's beautiful home. Elena is very attentive to the needs of the residents and is in frequent contact with the doctors, nurses and family members. The staff are very helpful, caring and thorough. Elena provides a home- like environment which is clean, comfortable, safe and quiet. We appreciated the small pets that provided extra love and happiness to our mother, as well as the home cooked meals and special holiday and birthday preparations.
If I could give Elena and her caregivers 10 stars I would. I recently moved my brother (with down's syndrome and dementia) from a neglectful group home situation (Aleardi's Place) to a wonderful healing and caring environment at Elena's home in Bloomfield Hills. I am my brother's guardian and placing him in a home with the best of care was always my sincerest intention. My brother who was a resident in a private room in the previous home for 51 days received absolutely no personal hygiene care aside from trips to the restroom and a baby wipe for cleanup. If I could give Elena and her caregivers 10 stars I would. I recently moved my brother (with down's syndrome and dementia) from a neglectful group home situation (Aleardi's Place) to a wonderful healing and caring environment at Elena's home in Bloomfield Hills. I am my brother's guardian and placing him in a home with the best of care was always my sincerest intention. My brother who was a resident in a private room in the previous home for 51 days received absolutely no personal hygiene care aside from trips to the restroom and a baby wipe for cleanup. No haircombing, teeth brushing, not even glasses cleaning. Forget baths, showers, or shaving. Unbeknownst to me, he arrived to Elena's home with an enormous infected abscess on his back which required emergency room attention, and subsequently a follow-up exam and treatment with a seasoned surgeon. My brother also arrived with ringworm in his head and side of face which is highly contagious, which again was unbeknownst to me. He is in treatment for that as well. In the almost two months he's been with Absolute ElderCare, my brother has seen the house doctor and nurse several times. He is no longer laying in bed day and night and is eating healthy meals in a chair and table most of which contain organic ingredients. He is finally sleeping through the night and is finding joy in each and every day. Our family can not thank Elena enough for her heartfelt love and attention toward my brother. She treats her residents as family. She is in this business because she truly cares to increase the lifespan of her residents by knowing everything about them. She often buys little surprises for her residents and prepares special dinners twice a month that most people don't even order when going out for dinner. Fillet Mignon, shrimp, and crab legs just to name a few. She communicates regularly with our family and only aims to please. She gives our family peace of mind, and trust me this is priceless!

Living out of state and having to find somewhere and someone to entrust my mom’s care to was really becoming an issue. I just couldn’t find anyone I was comfortable with or my mom was comfortable with. After investigating a number of elder care facilities and checking out references from Beaumont Royal Oak social workers, I finally found exactly what I was looking for in Absolute Elder Care. From my first meeting with Elena, and visit to her beautiful home, I knew I had found the right place to take care of my mom. In the months since my mom moved in everything has gone beautifully. Knowing my mom is being cared for — that she’s taking all her medications, eating good, healthy meals, and there’s someone watching over her, ensuring her care — has been a great relief to me. I highly recommend Elena, her staff, and her home to anyone looking for elder care for a loved one.

My mother is a current resident and is doing so well! She is in a home environment with the safety, services, equipment, and trained staff of a traditional nursing home. Relatives who visit and residents as well are all treated like family!
I can’t begin to tell you how lucky we were to find Elena and Absolute Eldercare . Elena is one of a kind caregiver. She is an unbelievable powerhouse that never stops caring. From her home cooked meals to total in house Drs. She makes your family member feel at ease from the start. My dad was in terrible shape when we found Elena and my biggest regret was not finding her sooner. I think my dad would have lived much longer if we did. My dad was in and out of rehabs and nursing homes. No one took care of my dad like Elena, she used essential oils and an organic diet for my dad and the diffence just in his skin was unbelievable!!! After a month with her , my dad was able to get out of his wheelchair and walk for the first time in over a year . She’s one of a kind, consider yourself lucky if your family member gets a room at her home.
I would highly recommend Elena and Absolute ElderCare. I have used the services of Elena on two occasions. Initially with my mother-in-law and this past year with my mom. I couldn't have been happier with the care and love they received. She is very attentive to the residents and will do what is in their best interest. She is in constant contact with the nursing staff and doctor as needed to ensure the best care is given. She works to accommodate each resident to the extent possible to make them feel at home and to regain their health. I was very fortunate to have found Elena to make the time my mom had left as comfortable as possible. I also appreciated the fact that she did not take any client, but those that fit well with the current residents. It's important to have a group that fits well together to enhance the nurturing environment. She is about quality not quantity.
Elena is simply amazing. Sadly I lost my father this year but I have to thank Elena for giving him such great care the last few months of his life. Absolute ElderCare provides such a high level of quality care and I recommend it to anyone looking. I went home every night knowing my father was in very caring hands. I can’t thank them enough!
Absolute ElderCare is a wonderful home for your loved one. It truly is a place where you can rest assured that your loved one will be well-cared for. My mother resides here. Because she has Parkinson’s, she has had a difficult time feeling comfortable in other places. She instantly felt at home here. I can’t say enough good things about the staff here, they are far superior to any other place that we have visited.
