My father has been there for a few years now and they take amazing care of him. He was recently in the hospital for a few days and the director took the time out to come and visit him. In the 17 years I have been a nurse I have worked in Monroe and downriver. I have never seen a facility take such good care of the residents as Alice Lorain Care center. My father has been there for a few years now and they take amazing care of him. He was recently in the hospital for a few days and the director took the time out to come and visit him. She spoke with the hospital social worker so my dad could do his rehab at his facility. He’s doing good and I appreciate all the extra help they gave us. They really listened to the residents. They have resident council meetings where the residents can voice concerns and make suggestions. My dad asked if they could get a pool table and they made it happen, he asked if one of their field trips could be to the zoo and they went to the zoo and had a great time. Dad hasn’t been able to go to the fire works in years, they arranged to have a fireworks display for the residents. I would recommend this place for anyone needing to make that difficult decision because it gives me such peace of mind that he’s not just being cared for but that they love him.😊
Alice Lorraine Care Center has always been so positive, helpful, and supportive within the local community. Their team truly seems dedicated to providing great patient care while creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents and families. They also do such an amazing job planning fun holiday events and activities that bring joy to residents throughout the year. It’s wonderful to see the effort they put into making holidays feel special and creating meaningful experiences for everyone involved. Their kindness, communication, and community involvement truly stand out!
My mother was a resident at Alice Lorraine for 15 months with advance dementia. We moved her in after the loss of my father/her caregiver. This was a very overwhelming time for her and us. The care we received from everyone was amazing and so helpful during this time. They took care of her every step of the way as her condition worsened along with helping us navigate having Hospice there as well. I will be eternally grateful for the love and care they showed us during our time there. I would highly recommend them to any one who is looing for a wonderful facility for their loved one.

Alice Lorraine is not just a care center. It is a caring care center. The staff doesn’t just meet the residents needs but does with a caring manner. This means that the center is a very happy and peaceful facility.
My mom was treated great by the staff. I feel they treated her as if she was one of there own family member.
My mother recently died after living her last 3 years at Alice Lorraine care center. The care she received while there was excellent. Each staff member treated her with loving care, respect and dignity. Mom participated in activities provided such as exercises, crafts, games and Musical programs. The food served was always very good and the on-site Medical Care under the supervision of the physician's assistant was a real bonus. Each staff member cared for mom as if she was a part of their own family. If Assisted Living becomes necessary for your family, I would highly recommend Alice Lorraine care center.
The staff go above and beyond to ensure the best quality of care. The cooks make the menu to suit the residents likes. Activities department goes above and beyond to ensure it is resident centered. Alcc is a very small community, everyone is family.
I needed help with my mother,Alice Lorraine took great care of my mother,She had a good time with her friends there,and her last three days ,they made both of us very comfortable, Thank you for making it like a home ,I was lucky to have all your help,can't thank you enough.
