During the tour we only met the staff member that took us on the tour. We never saw the residents. There was a musty smell in the community. Due to the stories of COVID and staff we ran from this community.
My aunt lived at St. Elizabeth for approximately 1 year until she needed more skilled care. The facility is wonderful. The nuns are awesome. Simple but adequate. Clean and well organized. We loved walking the beautiful wooded grounds. I felt as though her quality of life was excellent while she was there. The ladies are constantly attended to. Games and crafts are encouraged. The atmosphere is the best I experienced in 5 years of caring for her and seeing various places. My friend had her mom visit for respite care and was happy with the care as well.
As a healthcare worker, I have been to many different facilities and this is the BEST one I’ve ever seen. All of the residents are calm and welcoming, the sisters are very sweet and pleasant. I really liked visiting this one.
Great
It has worked out for my mother very well. They have chair exercises and other structured activities. They are a Catholic community so they have Mass and Rosary. For my mom it is a really good fit. It is a very compassionate place to be. They get to know the residents on a personal level. The food is excellent.
This assisted living accepted my mother knowing she has dementia. They did not care for her appropriately she wound up in the parking lot twice. They did not have activities they want the residents to sit in front of the tv. The state of Michigan needs to look into St Elizabeth's Briarbank.
Outstanding care and compassion from all the staff, all of the time.
This is a very nice place. It's clean, cheerful and very nice and home like. I believe it will be a good fit for my mom.
