The managing staff is excellent as are several of the caregivers. However, they were having difficulty staffing for caregivers in the rehab unit during the time we were there, and there were several on staff who were not caring nor concerned about the resident’s needs. Response time was often very long, like 30 minutes at times. There were also a lot of complaints about the food being dry, not tasty, and/or not warm. The place is nice, though, and the therapy was good.
i’ve had several family members who lived here and it’s the only rehabilitation center I suggest especially over mediloge of howell
Chronically understaffed, poor conditions. Complete lack of care. Every single day the patients should be cared for, not just when it's convenient. That is literally your job. Owners and managers should be embarrassed. Feels like a third world country rehab center. Better off at home if you can't oversee the day to day care of your loved one.
My mom received the best care here. She was happy and comfortable. There is a great atmosphere there. I would recommend them to anyone. They have the best social atmosphere for the guests.
Caretel Inn has a bunch of potential lawsuits on its hands with all the packed down ice in the parking areas. it's just a matter of time before somebody slips and falls and calls Mike Morris or Sam Bernstein. And then you'll have to raise your rates even further to cover the cost of the elevated insurance premiums on top of the lawsuits. Please maintain your parking area in the winter time; it would be greatly appreciated by people like me who have two bad knees and don't wanna fall
Staff Cheerful and helpful. Activities offered for residents daily. The environment is warm and comfortable. Mom likes the food. These things go a long way to making it a new home for Mom.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Facility looks less like an institution, and more like an all inclusive resort.
Ally was so helpful! She was so kind and welcoming :)
