Engman's Haven House AFC, LLC

Been a local resident in the Iron Mountain area for years. Hard to watch this place fall apart over the years. Used to be run by Elaine, was known as Elaine's Haven House, her husband and her ran it, did a good job. Then this Engman couple took over, renamed it, and the troubles started up. The wife ran it solo with the husband out of town most of the time, until the wife got arrested and convicted and the husband had to come back and take over running it because the state didn't trust the wife to run it anymore. And then later on the wife goes and starts stealing money from one of the residents, mostly because she had control of his checks, and she just took the guys cash, even after he moved out and into another place, she kept the money even when they asked her where it was. She ended up going to jail for that theft, and then the husband had to take legal control of the place because the wife couldn't be on it with her record. But its all in the family. Don't trust this family, sad for the residents, they deserve better. Would never recommend this place, it's a pity they don't shut it down. You have been warned.

The family that runs this facility are low character and thieves. There was a time when the wife was stealing money from a resident, and then, when she's been convicted of that crime and is a month from going to jail for it, she spends thousands of dollars on a tattoo. And then for stealing over 10 thousand dollars she spend less than 20 days in jail. And later that same year she spends over 5000 dollars for plastic surgery. So here is an owner of a care facility who cares more for herself than her residents. What is this world coming to? And now there are rumors about the things that go on over there which are not only illegal but also immoral. Avoid this place. Nick has no clue what's going on over there and he never did.
