Such a role model to everyone she met, not a bad word towards anyone, always a kind word or there to help if you need it. Said we will keep your mom's stuff in a room here safe." Paid $5300 for the month, I thought inside, keep her stuff safe, made plans with them, said I would pick it up by jan the 28th, winter travel in Michigan, still thinking…

They had her belongings that meant a lot to me and her basically on a curb in a u haul mixed with others stuff in -°20 windchill weather that was ruined. Non replaceable things that mom made from collecting over the years. The " maintenance man" threw other ones stuff in snowbank while trying to figure out what was my mom's things in u haul,without even caring. The director didn't call and tell me, I'm moving your loved ones stuff in the cold, sorry, need to re-rent room for more money. Still want to know, with all the cameras, and all caring staff, what happened to my mom's prized Christmas cactus of 25 years between dec 8th and jan 9th? Might sound petty, but meant a lot along with her belongings I brought for her to feel comfortable and safe. DO NOT RECOMEND!!!
The meals and dining service overall is very good, but the rooms are very small especially for how expensive the community is. There are not kitchenettes or sinks in the majority of the apartments, but they do have a bathroom with a shower. Also, there is no AC in the units.

Freighter View is a beautiful place to live. We are a great team of compassionate caregivers that have our Residents best interest at heart. My co-workers go above and beyond to assist and encourage Residents and each other everyday. It’s a fantastic place to work, and a quiet, scenic view by the river to call home.
Freighter View is one of the nicest assisted living homes I have ever seen. It is clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming. By far the best!
Beautiful place all the way around! Staff work as a great team! Warm and inviting for everyone. Housekeeping does a fabulous job and facility always smells wonderful! Would highly recommend!
A place for anyone needing assistance to call home. You are treated like family in the community. The staff is extremely caring and provide outstanding care.
