Finding the right place for a loved one is one of the hardest decisions a family can make, especially when they’re facing dementia and complex medical needs. From the moment our dad became a resident, we knew we had found something truly special. Tess and every member of her team have created so much more than a care facility—they’ve created a home. Every resident is treated with love, dignity, patience, respect, and genuine compassion. From the caregivers to the owner, everyone makes both the residents and their families feel welcomed, valued, and like part of the family. Our dad is always clean, well-groomed, comfortable, and genuinely happy. The home is consistently spotless, warm, and inviting, and the meals are wonderful. It’s obvious that every detail is handled with care because the staff truly cares about each person who lives there. What has impressed our family most is how everyone goes above and beyond. Whether it’s helping with daily care, communicating with our family, or even assisting with transportation to medical appointments, the kindness and dedication shown by Tess and her team have been nothing short of extraordinary. They never make it feel like a job—they make it feel like they genuinely love what they do. During one of the most difficult seasons of our lives, Good Touch Group Home has given our family something priceless: complete peace of mind. We know our dad is safe, respected, loved, and treated as if he were one of their own. I cannot say enough good things about this home & it's staff! Our family was incredibly blessed by the care my mom received in her 2 weeks there & in her last days of life. She went in there with hospice involvement expecting only a couple days left of life. She had been in the hospital for a month & pretty unresponsive & not eating/ drinking for the last week. But her body & spirit responded so well to the love, care & compassion from this home & it's staff. We had quite an unexpected & beautiful week long "rally" of her life there. It was a gift from God but also a testament to the staff who carried out her care every day. They went ABOVE & BEYOND to maximize what life & connection my mom had with her family & surroundings in her last days. I'm forever grateful 🙏
