I don't know much about your Facility; Accept for what I read. My sister: Charvella (Draper) Myall worked there for years; So it must be a nice place 😊 Charvella and I did not grow up in the same house. She was adopted by my Aunt and Uncle at the age of 5; Because my Aunt could not bore children. This was in 1966. They loved her from the very beginning. My parents thought it was the right thing to do? To let them adopt her. Once the adoption was finalized? They left Gary, Indiana and moved to Baldwin. We never saw her again 😢 She also left behind another Sister and 7 Brothers. I finally…

I don't know much about your Facility; Accept for what I read. We never saw her again 😢 She also left behind another Sister and 7 Brothers. I finally found her on the Facebook social media site in 2002. She looked just like our oldest brother. We communicated on Facebook for a moment. I would call her and leave messages. She never returned the calls. I wish she could have known her family 💔 We were all saddened; When we had to learn about her passing on Facebook. I just want to say "Thank You" for giving her the opportunity to work for your facility ♥️ She was happy there 😊 R.I.P Little Sister 🙏🏾✝️
The Activity Department is great. They have so many activities for the residents. The room is always full. The staff are amazing. Kudos to the staff and the director of activities. Great job guys!

Clean, staff is nice and attentive.
My wife is a nurse at this facility and i can honestly tell you this facility has the most amazing and caring floor staff. The nurses are well educated and are well versed and knowledgeable with the population that they take care of. They go above and beyond for their residents and family members. The CNAs are top notch. They truely care about their residents and the care that they received. They form bonds that are truely remarkable to see. This facility is clean and inviting.
The staff are friendly and greet you as you enter the door. The environment is welcoming and it's fun to see the residents engaging in all the activities. Often host activities that engage and include community members.
I took a tour of Grand Oaks in Baldwin when I was considering nursing care for my mother. This facility is very clean and well taken care of. I have been in facilities where the smell and atmosphere is discouraging. There was none of that here. They have a great activity program for the residents to participate in. The staff I came in contact with were all friendly and professional.
