My mother (& I,) had a wonderful experience at Harbor Post Acute Center these past months. The staff were all great, however, I do want to give a shout out to a few exceptional staff member's who went above & beyond each & EVERY day! I can honestly attribute my mom's positive change in heath, her mental health and mobility to these individuals! In PT & OT Kim & Suzy, and Marisa's for the extra PT that got her walking, in mental health Kayla, Mary, Rich, & especially Lisa! Lisa, was amazing in her care & medication dedication, she was also, open to discussions, to brain storm, & "see the…

Lisa, was amazing in her care & medication dedication, she was also, open to discussions, to brain storm, & "see the individual", & how we could work as a team to help my mom feel the best she could and make daily progress with such caring encouragement. Madison, is an amazingly caring Social Worker, with a very full plate, but is so caring that you feel like you are her only case. She is very resourceful, and has excellent follow through. There are so many people I failed to mention & I apologize, I personally owe the Team at Harbor a huge thank you & heartfelt gratitude! Blessings to each & everyone of you!

My 86 year old father went to Harbor after being struck on his bike. Since he no longer drives a car he didnt have auto insurance which made getting his treatment covered tricky. Medicare wouldn't due to the fact that it was an accident. Many places didnt want to take him because they said payment from the state takes to long. Harbor was willing to work with the local hospital and the payment situation. His intake nurse was great. He didnt seem to have any complaints on his care. He said they were occasionally short staffed but for him he was ok. He was able to rest and heal in a place that…

I would give Harbor Post high marks. The physical therapists do very well. The staff is kind of loud around the time of the night shift change though. They should be a little more considerate of the patient. Other than that it's a great place!!

I wish I was able to see something like this listing before I had to choose which Therapy Care to choose for my Special Needs Brother. He had 4 Brain Surgeries and went to 3 different Care Facilities during his recoveries for Therapy prior to going back to his AFC home. The first was Excellent in Therapy but forgot how to take care of the Patients. The Second had Wonderful patient Care but absolutely nothing for Therapy unless he could stand. The third, Harbor Post Acute Care was Wonderful in both Therapy and Patient Care. I went home nights not worrying about if he was going to be watched or not. There were a couple of things that happened but there was a learning curve in working with someone of Special Needs. Once they figured out his needs, they loved all over him. I had a hard time getting him to leave. If you worry about the ratings and Total Care, here is a location I would truly recommend. Thank You Harbor Post!

This is not the first time my mom had to be in post care after a hospital stay. However, this was/is the best facility we have experienced. Definitely will be our first option going forward. The staff was so caring, and patient. The family is super clean (one would hope, but not always the case). Exceeded our expectations and my mother and I are very very thankful for the care and all staff (Mary you are amazing). Thank you

My stay at Harbor was a very good experience. The staff was friendly and genuine and the food was good too. Therapy was tailored to my needs.

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I had to wait up to 2 hours for pain meds. It was reported to my insurance that I needed assistance with using the restroom, dressing and personal hygiene and I was 100% independent for all of them since the 2nd day. PT was scheduled and sometimes they showed up 3 hours late or not at all. Some of the nursing staff is excellent and care about their patients but others make it obvious that they’re just there for a paycheck. I feel sorry for the elderly that are there.

Overall very good place to go for rehabilitation.
