3.0 · 5 reviewsThey are both caring and considerate people. Helpful and kind to their residents. All of the people they care for like them, but I feel that sometimes the owners are a tad to stern with the residents. Haven Country AFC is a well maintained facility. The staff there is kind and caring, seems well trained to handle the duties they are assigned as well as take good care of the residents living there. Haven Country AFC is a well maintained facility. The staff there is kind and caring, seems well trained to handle the duties they are assigned as well as take good care of the residents living there. The residents get balanced meals and snacks throughout the day. They all seem to enjoy living there. There is a variety of care provided as this is also a home for the mentally disabled. Unfortunately, some of the residents complain from time to time of getting bored, and some of them rarely if ever can leave the home due to their disabilities that limits them. Most of the residents go on regular outings though, and truly enjoy it when they do. The home is located in the country so the residents get to enjoy watching various wildlife come into the yard. Some of the residents get to walk about a mile down the road, and love to take walks. Overall this home is one of the better homes I know of.
