I sure love this place, you could say that these four walls around us have got a lot of house-story to think about.
We moved my mom into Haven Lee Homes a few months ago. My mother is a retired nurse, so she can be very critical about everything when it comes to personal care. Since she arrived, she was welcomed and treated like a family member by everyone on their staff. They really go the extra mile to take care of everyone under their care. David and his staff treat everyone like they were his parents under his care. My mom is comfortable, happy, and doing well living there. We moved my mom into Haven Lee Homes a few months ago. My mother is a retired nurse, so she can be very critical about everything when it comes to personal care. We used Haven Lee Homes for my sister. I really liked everything about it. The facility was very nice, but most of all, I appreciated the staff. The people that worked there were marvelous. I don't believe you will find a better staff to care for your family.
No Guilt. Just Pride! I am so happy to have given my uncle a comfortable and dignified life at Haven Lee Homes. I toured Haven Lee Homes prior to them opening several years ago and have since then recommended their home to anyone that is in search of a safe and home like environment for their loved ones. There are several things that you will notice when you first walk into the home and I would say that the greatest thing is that you will see is that it is indeed a HOME. You smell home cooked meals, comfortable and open living environments, and the warmth from every single staff member that works there. There is a lot of hesitation to move a loved one out of their home to a facility. They are so big and they don't really give you that "at home" feeling. In our case we needed this because my uncle had a brain injury and dementia so he was deeply confused when he was not in this environment. We had moved him from an independent living where he was living on the 7th floor and was segregated from anything happening outside his small one bedroom apartment. He thrived upon his move. He was willing to sit in the family room and spent a lot of time in the sunroom. He appreciated the fresh coffee every morning and all the meals that were provided. It was lovely. I (without hesitation) would recommend Haven Lee Homes to anyone looking to place their loved on in a family friendly environment where they have the freedom to live to their maximum capacity (and are encouraged to). I should also mention that it is EXTREMELY clean. There aren't any weird smells or any other questionable issues that you may expect from an assisted living. There was zero guilt in moving my uncle into this home. We were very confident in our decision and he was extremely happy. Thank you to all the staff who have now become friends/family. We truly appreciate you.
My brother was in the end stage of Parkinson's Disease and required more care than I could provide. He was discharged from the hospital to Haven Lee Homes and I could not have been more pleased with the love, care and support he received from them. They are proof that there are angels among us.
My sister came to live with us after needing more care than the Oxford AFC home could provide. We searched and searched for the proper placement and we couldn’t be happier with the care she receives at Haven Lee Homes. And my sister is so happy! It is a beautiful home with kind and caring staff. Our entire family has been so pleased! Haven Lee Homes has provided the best care my sister has ever received in my 29 years of being her guardian! A lot of prayers were answered with Haven Lee Homes.We thank God we found you.
We found Haven Lee after a considerable search when our previous 'home' closed shop. David and his staff are superb! It was a real God Send that we found Haven Lee. They are most accommodating to all our needs and wishes. From personal care to dietary requirements, to scheduling, to just being friends! They are the BEST.
