5.0 · 7 reviewsOur mother recently passed away, and for the End of life care we had Mia and Rodica really took care of her Day and Night, even when she had her "Fits" the caregivers never complained or mentioned a thing to me. God Bless you ladies. The soups made from scratch got her eating when she didn't want to eat anything.
If you are looking for a care home for a loved one, you truly could not find a nicer place than House of Hope for the Elderly. It feels like an actual home—the caretakers live there. Out back is an organic farm and garden: a cow for fresh milk, chickens for fresh eggs, bees for fresh honey, along with herb, fruit, and vegetable beds, and more. By age 91, my mom had become increasingly frail and needed more care than my brother had been able to provide for years. The caretakers were wonderful. They always had her in brightly colored T-shirts, and they treated my brother and me like family, too—especially with the great food and drinks whenever we visited. Sadly, my mom was there for only two weeks before she passed away peacefully on a Saturday morning. It brought me immense comfort to know she died peacefully in that calm, loving place—surrounded by care and kindness—rather than in a hospital or at my brother’s home, which would have been difficult for him. Those brightly colored T-shirts even inspired me to choose a lovely vintage dress she’d made herself: white with vibrant red/pink carnations, paired with her vintage mink. Celebrating her life with color rather than traditional black. The flowers were chosen with that same spirit in mind. Everyone I’ve told about House of Hope for the Elderly (near and far) is amazed by how special it is + the organic farm and garden. My brother did a wonderful job choosing this beautiful caring home for our mom's final days.
Everyone at this home is very welcoming and friendly with visiting family. We have never had any issues and they are always attentive and empathetic with our concerns. The meals are all homemade and nutritious. They also have a large spacious outdoor area with a beautiful garden.

Amazing family who took care of my brother in law with compassion and wisdom. Such wonderful people whom I would highly recommend.
Our family found this loving place in Belleville to take care of our mom. Christina and her staff treat her and the other residents like family. Their meals are homemade and so healthy. When we leave after a visit we truly feel so blessed that our family has found this home for my mom's 24/7 care. Their beautiful kids are also such a nice part of the home. My mom enjoys watching them play and the attention they give her. Thank you to the entire staff for all you do!

House of Hope took incredible care of my grandmother. Rodica and the staff treated her like family, with genuine love and attention. The home-cooked meals, warm environment, and personal touch made all the difference. We’re so grateful for the compassionate, professional care she received. Highly recommend!
