Ivy Terrace of Lapeer

Update 5/23/2025 Management seems to listen and respond. New maintenance and directing staff have been added. They have been actively addressing the issues the former maintenance left them. I toured Ivy Terrace Independent Living. It's a beautiful apartment. So it's brand new. Everything is up-to-date, beautiful, and stainless steel. Just a really nice place. The staff was very thoughtful, very caring, personable, bright, and cheerful. It's something you would want to see somewhere. I was impressed. They offered me to come back and try it, but we walked through yesterday when they were having lunch and I saw what the people were eating, it looked good and it smelled delicious.

Maintenance issues are addressed fairly quickly. Meal options are expensive and limited to one meal a day. While we don’t participate in the meal options, I’m told the current cook does a very good job. The apartment was brand new when we moved in. I love having washer and dryer in the apartment. Very spacious bathroom with good handicap accessories. Full kitchen! I enjoy visiting with other residents. Nice balcony. Quiet place. No medical onsite. Good storage available. Good cable.
