The family/home atmosphere gives him him a sense of comfort that can’t be reproduced in large facilities. The intake process was extremely thorough and easy to handle from another state. Tenara and the family that cares for him are so loving and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure he gets everything he needs to tend to his care as a aging adult/senior citizen. I am so grateful to have found Kozy Komfort AFC when I needed placement for my brother. The care he receives is exceptional. The family/home atmosphere gives him him a sense of comfort that can’t be reproduced in large facilities. The intake process was extremely thorough and easy to handle from another state. Kozy Komfort is under New Management!! Looking forward to seeing Kozy soar beyond any expectations! Wonderful new care team! A great place to bring your loved ones that need assistance with daily tasks and medications, etc.. Don't take my word for it, give them a call to schedule a tour, and don't forget to tell them Angel sent you!! Loving care included!

Kozy Komfort has recently renovated with new floors and fresh paint. As you pull up to the home, you get a sense of community all around, from the interior to the manicured lawn and the neighborhood. They contract with local small businesses for year-round landscaping to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors. When you pull onto Beachfield Drive, you can't help but say, "This is Kozy!"
There skills on Medical. Needs are not good. My dad had a prescription especially wrote out for 4 weeks five pills for 5 days three pills and then the next week 5 days two pills the next week 5 days one pill it did not happen that way they had . pills left over when that time came up. My Dad had sugar low for 5 hours. The caregiver tried to tell me a Diet Coke would have brought his sugar up a Diet Coke does not bring a sugar up she began to argue with me about it not good. There were times there was no food in the pantry the caregiver that was there showed me there was not enough food there's only the cupboard was Bare only about eight cans of corn three cans of peaches and one box of macaroni and cheese to go for the rest of the month they did not get their food ahead of time and keep them head a time there were times when he would have peanut butter sandwiches every day to get through there were times when I brought him back for his Meal Time and there was not enough food for him they had to make a separate peanut butter and jelly sandwich for him. There were bed bugs in the home still not gone. This some of the things.
Mom has been at Kozy Komfort for almost four years. After having a stroke, she requires assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and movement, The staff treats mom with respect and kindness. They make sure mom is seated by the window so she can enjoy watching the birds at the feeder. On nice days, she sits outside on the deck. Sometimes the residents have movie nights, and they also play games. Holidays are special complete with festive food and activities. In addition, the owners really care and they facilitate outside therapy and services.
A small intimate home, with a good environment, where you can expect your loved one to get a lot of individual attention. The staff is caring and hardworking. Overall a great place and the family that runs it is very nice and helpful
