Lake House Assisted Living (LHAL) is a wonderful place to live! It's clean, well organized and very family-oriented. It's small enough that residents receive lots of individual attention and personal care on a daily basis. Residents enjoy three healthy, well-balanced meals per day and there are plenty of snacks. They also benefit greatly from playing and interacting with the owner's young children. I have filled in various times for the owner and was actually working the day that "1-star review Robin" brought in her 'loved one'. Contrary to what was stated by Robin, Lake House Assisted Living was at 75% full-capacity at the time! Robin was scheduled to deliver her 'loved one' on a Monday, and did not show up or call to say that she was not coming. She finally called the following Wednesday (while the owner was having pre-scheduled surgery at the hospital - of which Robin was given notice about prior to that Monday) to say that she would instead be there on Saturday (the day the owner was to come home from the hospital). Upon her arrival, I learned that Robin was not related to the resident, knew none of the information needed on the intake paperwork, and wanted no-contact with the resident's family. She brought no clothes, no shoes, no pjs, no outerwear, no disposable under-garments and no personal toiletries for the resident. I'm not sure why or how the Court even granted this woman guardianship!! After multiple times of Robin refusing to use Lake House's home-delivery pharmacy service (which all other residents use); her incompetency to fill out and review paperwork concerning the well-being, safety and health assessment of the resident; Robin's non-chalante attitude of supplying pain reliever and personal items the resident urgently needed at Robin's own convenience & when she got around to it; and her not picking up medications prescribed for the resident until days or weeks later -- IT WAS I WHO CALLED APS -- NOT CHELSEA!! At that time, I learned there was already an active case open, prior to this resident arriving at Lake House! I WILL ALSO BE FOLLOWING UP WITH APS, TO MAKE SURE THIS RESIDENT IS RECEIVING THE CARE THEY DESERVE. This resident DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE LHAL and in fact, broke down and started crying when eventually told about Robin's decision. This broke my heart. It's very evident that "1-star review Robin" does NOT have this 'loved one's' best interests at heart, nor does she have the slightest idea about what being a court-appointed guardian even entails!! The fact that she claims to have 33 years of experience in this field is VERY scary to say the least!! If that was indeed the case, why would she need the services of LHAL in the first place?! I would NEVER allow someone like Robin to make decisions or become an appointed guardian over my parents or other loved ones! I also noticed that "1-star review Robin" has done other Google reviews and most of them are negative, as well. I would therefore put very little merit into what "1-star review Robin" has to say about LHAL or any other place she's reviewed and complained about!
LHAL is such a great AFC home! The house itself is so nice and in such a peaceful area with views of the lake. The owner, Chelsea, is so kind and always available. It’s so nice that she treats everyone like they’re a part of her family.
This house is truly a home. My mom live here until she passed away. They became her family as well as mine. I can't believe anyone could rag on them with a clear conscience. Yes you still need to be involved in your loved ones life. This is not a dumping ground to just drop and run. When you move someone in they need to have all the things to make them safe and comfortable. This is a home, not a full fledged stick them in a room never to move, or see the light of day type of place. When you place someone with this home they are an extension of care, that helps you care for your loved one when…

When you place someone with this home they are an extension of care, that helps you care for your loved one when you can no longer care for them in your own home. I am still close to all the extend family that I made during a very difficult time that they made much better and full of joy for my moms finale days.
I have known the owner and her husband for several years now and their integrity for what they do is professional, their business motto sets them above the rest, and their care for The elderly population is very heartwarming. They make any and all residents an extended member of their family. I know once I have a relative reach the age to need them I would hope they have an opening, because they would be my first choice
Chelsea and her family are all wonderful people. Chelsea (the owner) goes above and beyond for everyone she meets. She is friendly, outgoing and has a contagious smile. Her assisted living is her pride and joy along with her family! She makes healthy meals, provides activities and games as well as ensures safety of all of her residents and family.
Having a loved one at lake house assisted living is like having them be a part of a family. There’s three big meals every day, activities, very friendly children that interact with the residents, and cable tv in each room. All of that is just what my Nana needs while she is there.
I had a loved one in the care of lake house assisted living for a brief period before we moved out of state and I couldn’t have been happier with the level of care that she received. they bent over backwards within their Means and abilities to make sure everybody was safe and secure during COVID-19. All the residents that she lived with seem to be extremely happy as well as fed. I wish I didn’t have to move my loved one To Oregon to be closer to us because I have yet to find a facility as good as hers
The place is clean and nicely put together. At first, everything was fine and going well until there was a need for stool specimen for the doctor. Chelsie became rude, stating that she doesn’t do that, she doesn’t have time and she is taking care of her 2 children, but then also states she is a full care facility. I explained to her that I can’t get the specimen because I am not there and my loved one doesn’t live with me. She then told me she doesn’t have the help to take the sample and take it two blocks away to the hospital. I have been in the medical field for over 33 years and I was appalled by her rudeness and her lack of understanding. She seems to forget that she is being paid to deliver a service that she falls extremely short on doing. My loved one also fell in her home and had to have stitches because of her lack of care and assessment of her. She allowed her to walk alone knowing that she had issues with dizziness and had to walk her to the chair the day before because of the same thing. At the time this happened there was only one other client in the home . Needless to say, I have removed her from there. Once I gave Chelsie her 30 day noticed she got mad and reported me to Adult Protective services(APS), claiming that She was concerned for my loved ones well being because I never provided clothes for her one and I wasn’t getting her medication. Both were lies. I caution anyone considering putting their loved ones with her. Cross her and she will try to ruin your reputation and try to make you out to be a bad person.
