“My experience at Marshall Comfort Care Assisted Living and Memory Care was very positive. Visited a family member, this place is nothing short of wonderful and smells so nice and fresh.
Management frequently offers explanations for ongoing issues, often citing a lack of awareness. However, it appears there is a significant gap in providing thorough and effective training for staff, which contributes to these concerns. There seems to be a lack of accountability at the leadership level. The caregivers themselves are attentive and clearly doing their best under challenging conditions, but they are often overworked and understaffed, with expectations that extend far beyond their primary responsibilities—at times taking on roles such as housekeeping, maintenance, and administrative duties.
My great aunt resides here, and I’ve noticed that the care staff is exceptional, always attentive and well-trained. However, when I visit, I’ve heard from other family members and witness myself that the housekeeper is extremely lazy. All she does is vacuum and dust, neglecting to clean anything else. After her one-hour cleaning session, she spends the next seven hours in the management’s office on her phone. At the end of the day, the staff is expected to perform her duties, but this laziness is truly unacceptable.
Toured the building for my father, Kristi was an amazing administrator, and really helped answer our questions, the building was very clean and cheerful it’s definitely our first choice.
They raised my mom's "rent" twice in four months $1200. The facilities manager Kristi is rarely available for family or residents to talk with. They double charged my mom $2500 for a month and we are still trying to get that resolved. The "stored" items are now missing and my mom has been without her bathroom facilities for 24hrs. How are they still in business? If you love your family member, choose someplace else! UPDATE: Marshall Comfort Care took our concerns to heart and resolved all the issues. The stored items were found, her bathroom has been fixed and the double charges were refunded. I truly appreciate the actions that Kristi has taken.
