My Dad suffers from dementia and a stroke. The team at Meadows has taken wonderful care of him. First off, this facility is SO CLEAN. I have never been in a cleaner assisted living. The staff is attentive and care for him like he is family. The occupancy is small here, so it was easy to get to know the staff and other residents. We enjoy visiting my dad and spending time there because it is so homey. Medically speaking his care including physical therapy is on point as well. We feel at ease knowing he is in good hands 24/7.
Sun Valley looked to be kept clean. The people I talked to seemed to care about their residents. They knew about who was where, and what was going on. They ended up not being the place for us for a couple of reasons. They didn't have availability at the time we were looking. And ultimately it seemed like they did not have as much staff and therefore additional features. We were looking for a larger community with more planned activities and community interaction.
