As a resident here, I can say it's the worst..Staff bullies us, and the kitchen sends us horrible dishes..most barely eat the stuff or family brings things..paint is falling on us, holes in wall spiders, ants, its horrible..no one here cares, patients are left on the floor, and staff bullies residents..if you care about your family member don't put them in here. I'm sure I'll be punished for this..don't leave your loved one here!
The issue I would like to report today is that I was added to A Place for Mom by this MediLodge of shoreline without my authorization and have continued to receive correspondence from a Place for Mom even after I requested to not be part of their email lists. This has been going on for years. Now my mother has passed, and a Place for Mom has been nice enough (NOT) to remind me of my mom's death around her date of passing by suggesting lodging and other services. This is only an issue due to MediLodge adding me to a place for mom without my approval. I could never in good conscience suggest…

This has been going on for years. Now my mother has passed, and a Place for Mom has been nice enough (NOT) to remind me of my mom's death around her date of passing by suggesting lodging and other services. This is only an issue due to MediLodge adding me to a place for mom without my approval. I could never in good conscience suggest MediLodge of Shoreline to anyone and have been in many other homes with my mother while she was alive and to another MediLodge that I would suggest.
My mother stayed here short term twice and loved it! She’s doing a couple weeks coming up and is looking forward to it. She says the food is good. Staff seem friendly and my mother is happy with them. Thank you very much for some much needed respite. Continue doing what you do!
My mother went to MediLodge of Shoreline for respite care. It was a very nice place. They take good care of your loved ones. My mom said the food was OK. They do have quite a bit of activities, but my mom chose not to participate. It's a nice, trusting place to take your loved ones to.
It was the worst experience of my life.the rooms was dirty. In the bathroom was small bugs crawling around in them. The first weekend a half I made my own bed from my wheelchair. When it come to the food , it was far from eatable. I was on lasik so uranation was a lot. The nursesade left me in a bed of pee. From midnight till morning sift came on..The night said she will not clean me up all night. The only best part of this place is the PT and OT. Other then that is getting to go home.
The negligence at this facility is terrible. Food quality is very poor. My mother was in a urine soaked bed due to lack of care overnight.
We were at the stage in life when full time care is needed, and Medilodge of Shoreline has been fabulous. Having passed through a few other facilites on this journey, we are so very thankful to the excellent staff, customer relations personnel, management, and food preparation teams. Every step has been above what we had previously experienced and Joe is happy and feels at home and accepted.
My father is here right now. No one can answer my questions as to why his belly and legs are suddenly swollen and no one knows how to help get him on to a toilet?!?!?!?!?!? Staff yawning while my mother is asking questions. Are you kidding me right now. We are getting him out of here ASAP. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!
