I highly recommend this nursing home. The staff truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to provide compassionate, personalized care. The facility is clean and welcoming. It is clear that the residents' health, comfort, and happiness are a top priority.
My dad was at Medilodge of Taylor for about 2 weeks. I was really worried reading some of these awful reviews. It ended up being a good experience for him. He needed rehab after falling and breaking 2 ribs. He also has a lot of cognitive issues due to Parkinsons. They took good care of him. They were patient and attentive and kind. He was never lacking what he needed. He was able to complete is rehab program and get home in better shape in a timely manner. They were very communicative with us on his progress and also with his at home care team. Overall, it was a pretty smooth process. My only…
My dad was at Medilodge of Taylor for about 2 weeks. My only complaint was that it was difficult to get a hold of anyone who could be of help through the main phone number posted online. Many who answered didn't know how to transfer the call properly or when a Voicemail was left, they didn't return the call. It was best to go there in person to talk. Not ideal for me (his daugther) as I live out of state, but luckily my mom lives near by and was able to communicate when needed.
The facility was great taking care of my father after he left the hospital. The rehabilitation was great in improving his movement and getting him home. Thank you team.
Some one needs to call the state on this place IMMEDIATELY! Walked in to check on my family member and she was left in horrible condition. Walked in and the night shift was sitting down talking and as soon as I started checking my family member out and noticing everything , they began to help me do the job they are supposed to be doing
So awful, had a family member there recently and they were treated awful, waiting hours for basic needs, uncaring staff. Physically rough staff, accused my family member of overdosing when they actually had a high fever and infection. Avoid this place
I would rate zero if I could. The thing they do best is neglect. Family member was there after surgery. Need pain meds every 4 hours around the clock. May have gotten 2 doses a day. I would guess the nurse to patient radio was 20 to 1 if all the staff showed up. And daily physical rehab was more like twice A week
Highly recommend this facility for short term or long term needs!
This place is a death trap for unsuspecting elders. A family member was there for rehab. Three days with no rehab. The only time we saw an aide was when we searched the halls for one. Nurses never checked on the resident, never checked to see if the aides were doing this job. Let your loved one die with dignity. Dignity is not found here. Three days is more than enough neglect to know the staff doesn’t care at all. We had him discharged. They like to tell people “this is not the standard they strive for”. But this is the standard they except. The family will be taking this up with the BBB.
