4.4 · 67 reviewsStoryPoint was spot on from the beginning (Oakleigh). The establishment is clean, everyone there is nice, personable and professional. It started with the assessment at the rehab, and then the tours of the place. Kyla is the absolute best, took her time to walk through the establishment and thoroughly explain everything to me, also took the time to make sure my mother will get the proper care and food packages. She helped me with all my questions and concerns in full depth and detail! Steven is a mm ace too and all the residents love him. I highly recommend this community 😎
Our parents were at Oakleigh for 4 years. They first resided in assisted living, mom passed and then our father moved to memory care. As his health declined, the nursing staff helped set up hospice and were very supportive and kind to both him and our family during this time. We were very pleased with the care our parents received and always felt they were looking out for their safety and truly cared about their quality of life. The amenities are second to none. Our parents were at Oakleigh for 4 years. They first resided in assisted living, mom passed and then our father moved to memory care. As his health declined, the nursing staff helped set up hospice and were very supportive and kind to both him and our family during this time. We were very pleased with the care our parents received and always felt they were looking out for their safety and truly cared about their quality of life. The amenities are second to none. The building is beautiful and well maintained. Activities were offered for all levels of ability. The dining room, sitting areas, outside patios and garden area are nice areas to visit with family and friends. Every visit I would ask our Dad, "how is it going?" His reply was always, "I really like it here. They take good care of me." Can't ask for anything more than that! Thank you for taking such good care of our parents Oakleigh! We were so fortunate to have found such a wonderful facility for our parents to call home.
My father has been living at Oakleigh of Macomb for over a year and absolutely loves living there. The food is great! The atmosphere is outstanding. The staff is courteous and caring. There are creative events and activities for the residents. The big plus to Oakleigh is an in-house rehab gym with a full-time trainer that does light exercises with the residents to keep them active. Most facilities we toured do not have this! A very positive place to live!

Oakleigh has been a godsend for both my parents and our extended family. The facility is well maintained and clean. My parents have enjoyed the food and the range of activities/musical entertainment. The staff have been consistently communicative, supportive, and helpful as my parents have declined (we just lost my father, and I have been so touched by all the hugs and extra attention they have given my mother - staff even took time to attend my father’s funeral). My mother is now in hospice care within the memory care unit, and I am happy with how staff coordinate with the hospice group. This is certainly not an easy season of life for any of us, but I am confident that my mother is being well taken care of (as was my father) and that she feels safe and respected at Oakleigh of Macomb.
Oakleigh is a great community. My grandparents were residents here for over three years. They were very happy and became very attached to the staff. They always enjoyed the food and my family had lots of meals with them. My family made the best choice!
I walked in the door for a tour. The receptionist completely ignored me but continued to help others and answer phone calls. I stood at the desk for awhile and finally went to sit down. I just couldn't get passed the first impression and passed on this location.
Kyla is absolutely a joy to work with! Interim Healthcare enjoys working with Kyla at Oakleigh Of Macomb! She has excellent communication! She cares about the residents and the families! She does a marvelous job Marketing for their community! She’s extremely knowledgeable about the industry and resources available for families and resident’s! Thank you for all that you do for our Seniors! Highly recommend!
Oakleigh is a very well run facility that is run by Richard and his staff. Senior living is a hard decision to make for your loved one but at this facility you will be treated will honor and respect. Beautiful rooms and exceptional dining room. Plenty of activities with singing and laughter.. My wife and I felt safe that mom was being taken care of.. exceptionally maintained...A great place to have family gatherings with gorgeous upstairs game room That you can reserve free of charge. We give a 100% satisfaction to Rich and all the staff.
