My mom was treated very poor and unfairly I would never recommend this place to anyone…if you really care about your loved one don’t put them here!! Very poor and abusive care and very poor management.
The facility feels "homey." The staff is always willing to help with anything you need. I feel that some of the things that can be improved upon are due to lack of staff on some shifts. For instance, if there are only 2 staff members working a shift, and a resident presses their call button or tries to get out of their seat unassisted, this could lead to an accident. Also, there are times when the meal is not adequate for some residents. Generally speaking the food is good and the meals are sufficient and healthy, but there have been times when the meal seems to be an after thought. Again,…

The facility feels "homey." The staff is always willing to help with anything you need. I feel that some of the things that can be improved upon are due to lack of staff on some shifts. For instance, if there are only 2 staff members working a shift, and a resident presses their call button or tries to get out of their seat unassisted, this could lead to an accident. Also, there are times when the meal is not adequate for some residents. Generally speaking the food is good and the meals are sufficient and healthy, but there have been times when the meal seems to be an after thought. Again, this is usually related to which staff member is working the kitchen.
All of the employees are kind, caring, and seem to be knowledgeable in their field! My in-laws have been very happy residing there, and they were very kind to them both after my mother-in-law passed away recently.

This place is the best, the loving and compassionate care the staff gives each person is unbelievable! This place really cares, from Nicki, staff, care team thank you for everything you've done for Rich and myself.
I have been visiting Oscoda Fields as a partner in care for 7 months now. Every time I walk into the building I am greeted with a smile. Nicole, the administrator, is a pleasure to work with and is always extremely helpful. The facility is always clean. The staff cares so much about the residents and treat them like family, which is so wonderful to see! It truly is a special place and I highly recommend if your loved one needs a place to call home!
Oscoda fields is a wonderful facility, the rooms are spacious and accommodating to residents needs. The commons area is large and filled with many seats for both residents and families to sit and read or watch the TV
My Dad has lived here for three years and they do a wonderful job!! Five stars!!!
Very awesome place and everyone is so down to earth.
