Very detailed updates, sometimes twice a day and very thorough planning for residents moving out and eventually their return. The entire staff was all hands on deck and though I did take my mother into my home until the water crisis was over, every time we stopped by to grab a few things, everyone was there with a smile asking how we were doing! Wanted to share the incredible effort Pomeroy and all its staff provided especially during the recent water issues in Lake Orion. From day one Chris the Director did an amazing job of communicating with all us families. Very detailed updates, sometimes twice a day and very thorough planning for residents moving out and eventually their return. The entire staff was all hands on deck and though I did take my mother into my home until the water crisis was over, every time we stopped by to grab a few things, everyone was there with a smile asking how we were doing! A month earlier there was a power failure in Lake Orion but all the apartments still had a working outlet for residents to use and they still provided 3 meals a day. My Mom moved into Pomeroy last October and the way Pomeroy has handled different events out of their control has been really impressive!
There recently was a water main break and all residents had to be temporarily relocated, including my Mother. Chris Bowman demonstrated exceptional leadership along with all the staff. We couldn't be more grateful for the excellent care she received. Thank you.

When they moved in they were both mobile and independent. That has changed in the last two years and Pomeroy has made those changes much easier. When my mom had to go into memory care the transition was very smooth. The staff is very professional and are great at communicating. They just had to deal with a huge amount of Lake Orion having a water main break, no tap water, no toilets. In a day they moved everyone to their other facilities, then moved them back a few days later. The handled it all very well.

My dad recently moved into memory care at Pomeroy Living. After a few years of talking with Lorene Strong, it became time for him to make the move. Lorene was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process and she made the process easy and straight forward. She answered the whole slew of questions I had like a champ. The whole staff have been very kind and have helped my dad with adapting to his new living conditions. Overall, it is has been a good decision for his care. The community is a very nice place for him to live out his years.
Absolutely the best staff. My mom was here for a number of years from independent living, assisted living and then memory care. The staff is what makes this facility and sets it apart. Mackenzie was great to work with and made the experience very positive. She was well-informed, attentive, and took the time to walk me through everything while answering all of my questions. I would confidently recommend this community based on this experience.

Pomeroy Senior Living shared a Thanksgiving Brunch for residents and guests this past weekend. The atmosphere was happy and welcoming, the brunch had many delicious offerings and families and friends shared a fun time together during this busy time. Thank you Pomeroy! S.G.
