*update- according to LARA, she is no longer open 🎉* Formerly known as “Country Acres”, was closed for an investigation regarding neglect and abuse after I left there back in 2010. Opened back up (not sure when) with a new name now called “Reflection Ranch”. I was hired there back when I was 17 with no experience, hadn’t passed my drug/background test, was left to care for 5 patients by myself without knowing 2 were also on hospice, this was my first ever job and had no idea what I was doing or how to properly care for those patients. I am now almost 30 and it kills me that this place is still up and running. The things I wish I knew now as a 17 year old, the things I witnessed and heard. The voicemails I have from the owner, ugh. Please, do not send your loved ones here.

Please do not send your loved ones to be cared for by someone previously shut down for abuse among other horrible things. If your family is here pull them now get them to safety!!!!

My sister and I have a brother with vascular dementia from a stroke. My sister and I went to Reflection‘s ranch to interview, Everything looks nice and seemed OK. Once we placed my brother at this AFC things went downhill quickly. The communication was terrible .We had asked hospice to step in, the professionals had advised us to remove my brother from that AFC. My brother in three months has lost approx 30 pounds has three ulcers on his bottom, is now in a wheelchair all contorted. We have supplied that facility with everything body wash soap shaving cream deodorant mouthwash toothpaste…

The communication was terrible .We had asked hospice to step in, the professionals had advised us to remove my brother from that AFC. My brother in three months has lost approx 30 pounds has three ulcers on his bottom, is now in a wheelchair all contorted. We have supplied that facility with everything body wash soap shaving cream deodorant mouthwash toothpaste diapers gloves and wipes by the hundreds. That was the request from Reflection Ranch which we could not see using that much supplies and one person . The red flags started showing up.. my brother is now in a safer place getting the correct medical attention he needs . APS has been notified and has started the investigation. I would never never recommend this facility for decent human care.
