The occupational therapist here worked with us to set up his room so he could manage daily tasks himself, and they check in without hovering. It's exactly the balance we were hoping to find.
We chose Serene Gardens specifically for their memory care program, and it's been exactly what we needed. The neurologist they work with visits regularly, activities are tailored to the residents' abilities, and the communication from staff about my mom's day has been consistent and honest.
My mother has been at Serene Gardens for eight months now, and the difference in her quality of life is remarkable. The staff remembers all her preferences, the activities calendar keeps her engaged, and I've noticed she's made genuine friendships with other residents. The memory care unit is designed so thoughtfully that she feels safe while still having independence.

My wife spent two years working in senior care before we moved here, so she has high standards. She says the training and organization she sees from Serene Gardens staff is legitimately impressive. The meals are prepared fresh and actually look appetizing, which matters more than people realize.
My mother has been living at Serene Gardens for eight months now, and the transformation in her quality of life has been remarkable. The memory care staff knows her by name, remembers her preferences, and genuinely seem to enjoy spending time with her. The activities coordinator organizes everything from gardening clubs to live music performances, and the dining room serves home-cooked meals that my mom actually looks forward to eating. I visit often and can see how happy and cared for she is.
Was worried about moving Mom here but six months later she's doing great! The art class helped her make friends and the medication management took stress off our whole family. Feels safe and homey.
This place is by far the best assisted living facility there is! My loved one was there about a couple years ago maybe a little longer. She absolutely loved it there. I recommend this place still to anybody that needs help with a loved one, that this is the place to go. I remember my mom just absolutely loved this gentleman his name was Brandon, not sure if he still works there but I remember him just being the absolutely best to my mother. She absolutely adored that young man. He was always so nice when me and my family would visit my mom. He was always the hardest worker, and would always greet you with a smile, and always asking if you need anything or that he could help you with. I hope everyone is doing good from the top to the bottom. This place truly is wonderful
The food needs to be better and there's not enough activity to keep the residents engaged. A lot of the residents stay in their apartment after their meals.
