4.5 · 93 reviewsthe occupational therapist worked with my dad to maintain his hobby interests. keeping him engaged in what he loves is part of the care philosophy here.
the kitchen accommodates special requests without making it seem like a burden. my dad's gluten-free needs are met with good food, not just substitutions.
my husband was in four facilities before serene gardens. the difference in his happiness and health is undeniable. staff that actually cares makes all the difference.

I've been living here for the past three years after having a stroke, and it's truly become home. The rehabilitation support I received made a huge difference in my recovery, and over time I've become part of the community. What I appreciate most is that the staff always treat me with kindness and respect, making me feel like a person rather than just another patient.
my husband's roommate situation didn't work out initially, and instead of just moving him, staff helped us think through what would work better. they actually listened.
Was impressed by how the staff interacts with residents during my visit. They make eye contact, they remember names, they ask real questions. That's not training, that's character.
three years ago i thought i'd lose my mother to her diagnosis. serene gardens proved that quality of life is still possible. she has good days, hard days, and the staff handles both with patience.
the memory care staff takes time to learn each person's history and background. they don't just manage behavior, they connect with who these people actually are.
