It takes a special type of individual to work in Geriatrics and rehabilitation. This facility has managed to find the right individuals. I cannot say enough about the caring and compassion that the associates show daily to the residents in their care. Office personnel, medical staff, dietary, maintenance all work to make this a wonderful and safe place. I am forever grateful that I have my mother in this facility.
I would never tell anyone about this place to anyone they treated my mom like crap even tho I seen it over an iPad right in front of my face having a nurse tell the other nurse she is on the iPad with her family 2x yelling at my mom i was not happy ..they didnt take care of her as they should I was so glad to get her out of there oh and they even forgot to feed her as she was on a feeding tube and I seen full pieces of chicken on her table and she couldn't eat food like that it needed to be in liquid form ..I still have pictures of her while being on the iPad. Her lips were very dry her butt…

My grandma was here for rehab and later transitioned to long-term care. The staff was compassionate, attentive, and treated her with dignity the entire time. Our family always felt welcomed and informed. We’re very grateful for the care she received.
i was just there for a week after a week in the hospital. i was treated great and with such care. everyone i worked with was very kind. the place is amazing
The staff was very friendly. Showering of paients was only done if i was there and had to tell them and even then it still didn t get done. My husband had a skin condition and it was imporant gor him to be clean.
Such a great place! Many of the staff have been here over 10 years, and you can tell they really care — they treat the residents like family. My own loved ones have stayed here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it again.
My Brother Michael loves it here at SKLD in Whitehall. He is currently here along with Hospice enjoying his time He has day by day. Michael 53 years old has a rare aggressive Lymphoma cancer with no immune system to fight anything. SKLD in Whitehall has been very understanding and supportive by wearing masks and keeping his door closed behind them at all times to help in keeping Michael germ free as much as they can. SKLD in Whitehall has Him feeling welcomed and loved. SKLD in Whitehall are quick to answer your needs and resolve them to the best of their ability. I would highly recommend SKLD in Whitehall to more Family and my Friends. Thank-you ALL Staff and Employees for the awesome continuing care for my Brother Michael Wheeler Rm# 113 THANK-YOU From Michael Wheeler and his Sister Debbie Gordon
You have some people there that really care and take care of their people well. Got the privilege to get to know awesome caring folks.
