2.2 · 31 reviewsWorst place on earth, no toilet paper no hand towels. Short on diapers, no soap. Clothes, personal item’s disappear faster than u can have people bring them.
Beware of putting your family at St. James Nursing in Detroit. The staff is great but, they have a massive rodent problem and they are not shy about roaming the hallways and resident rooms. This is shameful.
Very unprofessional and DIRTY!!! Horrible communication, my mother didn’t have proper care and ended in the hospital after 3 days. The staff just want to talk back to you. Personal belongings went missing. DO NOT SEND loved ones here!

The place is just straight up GHETTO. Staff wearing bonnets, talking obnoxiously loud and cursing in front of residents and us and we were visiting someone smh. The place looks like a run down shack and I wish there was a way I could get my family member out of there smh. This is a horrible place to put ANYONE. How this place is allowed to be open is beyond me smh. My heart aches for everyone that has to be there and cannot advocate for themselves. I would NOT want any of those ppl to care for me 24/7 when they’re this unprofessional.
I stayed in this place less then 24 hours. How it hasn't been shut down is beyond me!! Not only that they kept my whole month worth of pain meds And lied and said they dispensed them to me when I left.
I asked staff what one of my meds were and she was rude to me and was happy that she put my stuff on hold now I won’t be able to get any of my meds until the next day or until the doctors here to talk to you she was very rude about it and happy about it with her what she was doing to me and was talking to me with a loud tone and just being disrespectful
I can't believe that this facility is still open. My brother in law was put out with no place to go!!! They said his days were up. What type of social worker is Precious that she would let this happen? She was suppose to have set up a treatment center for him, b4 his days ended. He hitchhiked to the treatment center and was told they didn't accept his insurance, nor didn't have a bed!! We live out of state and I'm so angry because he he slept outside the treatment center. He had no money and no where to go!! What type of social worker treats a patient, a human being like that??? I'm going to do everything I can to help her realize that she should NOT be a social worker!! I would love to speak to someone of authority, perhaps the owner??
What a hot mess. This place is very unsafe. The back door is broken and the facility looks like a dump. Staff is highly unprofessional and rude. Don’t send your loved ones here.
