We initially signed Dad on because their rates were the least expensive option for full memory care. I am happy to report that Dad was given excellent care and The Brook was GREAT to deal with. After having dealt with multiple care facilities for my Mom-in-law, my expectations for The Brook were tainted by over promising, under performing sales pitches that I had heard by the others. We initially signed Dad on because their rates were the least expensive option for full memory care. I am happy to report that Dad was given excellent care and The Brook was GREAT to deal with. Their staff was kind and courteous to us and Dad. Their communication was excellent when issues arose. The food was above average for institutional food. (You can’t please everyone with every meal). The manager Michelle was always willing to listen and help whenever she could. Thank you Brook for making my Dads last days as comfortable as possible.
Michelle and Charlie are wonderful to work with they are very personable and kind and understanding to your situation they will do anything in their power that they know how to do to help a resident coming in and maintaining their integrity
Run!!! My parents lived at the Brook for a year and an half until their apartment was infested with bedbugs. According to the manager, the company’s policy is to confine them to their apartment. The manager accused them of bringing the bedbugs into the facility. My parents never had bedbugs in their home. We discovered maintenance had been “treating” the building for 6 months before my parents apartment was infested. After the room had been “treated” we were told it was ready for them to return to the facility. The room was trashed and there were still live bugs. My parents did not return.

I toured The Brook of Cedar Springs. They had a lot of nice activities. It seemed to be very clean. If you would fall down, they have 24-hour pick-up service. Someone would come and pick you up and check you out. I didn't care as much for their laundry facilities, the way you had to do laundry, and accessibility to the building. I like their dining options better than where I am. You could just choose any meal if you wanted to, one, two, or three, but you would pay for each one, or not pay for the ones you didn't enjoy. I didn't really interact with anybody but the person who was giving us the tour.
I cannot say enough good things about the Brook of Cedar Springs.My mother in law has been a resident of the Brook since they first opened, and we've been incredibly happy with the cares she has received. The staff is absolutely wonderful, compassionate, attentive and always going above and beyond. The manager, Michelle is equally impressive, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that any concerns are addressed promptly. It is clear that they prioritize the well being of the residents and Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere .Overall, the care at The Brook of Cedar Springs has been outstanding, and we feel so fortunate to have found such a great place for mom. Thank you, Michelle and staff.
The staff at the Brooke of Cedar Springs overall were great and provided compassionate care to my mother. The staff is caring and friendly toward the residents. The manager Michelle who is currently there is not effective in her role. She is very non-responsive to calls and shows a lack of compassion. During my mother’s stay and after she passed I left multiple phone and email messages with no response. When my mother passed Michelle walked by her room and expressed no condolences. I had to track her down at the facility the next day to find out the moving process after my mother passed.
The staff at The Brook of Cedar Springs is amazing. They treated my Mom with love and kindness and went above and beyond to care for her during her time there. They were so supportive of our entire family, especially when we were going through the difficult end of life stage. I can't imagine that a more caring team could be found anywhere else.
Michelle and staff are amazing....so good to know same staff still there after a year
