4.9 · 7 reviewsI had an in-person tour of the Meadows of Anchor Bay. They didn't have a lot to do. You don't get any meals. It was a nice apartment. You could have one or two bedrooms. They have full kitchens and living rooms. Sometimes, they have one or two bathrooms. The staff members were very nice and helpful. The people don't move out. Once they get in there, they stay there, so that's a plus. When somebody dies or if they have to move out, then you get a room. There is a long waiting list to get in. There isn't much staff there because they don't eat there.
I moved into my clean roomy 2 bedroom in Oct 2023 and have never regretted it. I have a balcony which holds a glider and large chair, loads of closet space and a pantry with medical alert cords in bathroom and bedroom if needed. Many activities available plus beauty parlor, library , exercise room and community room where food is often served along with celebrating special events. Carports are available and a caring staff to look after you, I am. home.

My experience went very well at The Meadows of Anchor Bay. All of the staff was friendly and very helpful with what was needed to apply. The tenants living there and their positive comments about the Meadows was an extremely big factor in us making our decision. Mom likes her unit and is adjusting to her new environment. I definitely would recommend The Meadows.
My mother-in-law has been living at the Meadows of Anchor Bay since January 2015. The facility is neat, clean, and extremely safe. Their are plenty of activities for all residents. Buses will pick up residents to shop at the local strip mall which has a very nice Kroger, Hallmark, a dollar store, etc. Birthdays are celebrated at the beginning of the month, sweet Friday occurs monthly where the facility provides free breakfast to the residents. Card playing or playing dice happens during the early evening so that residents can get to know one another. Washers and dryers are on site for a fee. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for safety, a nice apartment and plenty of activities.
