I would caution anyone who has a loved one in there or is thinking of putting their loved one there. Our family made a very hard decision.Do pull her out of there because of the lack of communication between administration and staff was unacceptable at best. To walk in your mother's room time and time again to see her in distress and see her phone on the floor under her bed, along with the call button or the neglect. From the c n a's who are leaving her alone in the bathroom and shutting the door with someone who is a fall risk to tell her, just pull the cord when you're done that. Also was so…

From the c n a's who are leaving her alone in the bathroom and shutting the door with someone who is a fall risk to tell her, just pull the cord when you're done that. Also was so dangerous. Myself and my sister went to administration.More than should have been and be told it will be taken care of just to have the nurses and the CNA's tell you that administration has nothing to do with what goes on with the patients. I ended up taking pictures and myself , and two other family members began journals. Haven't decided weather to pursue legal action or not.Because my mom had to be taken to hospital the same night.I brought her home. She had such a horrible rash on her bottom. And on her front. Found out at hospital she had a UTI. Not to mention how many times we would find our mom left sitting in a chair for hours at a time with hemorrhoids that bled often
Great establishment. Very happy with the care received while having our grandpa stay here.
Loved everything about this facility. Amber was a delight! She went above and beyond.
The family of Edward Luthringer, would like to give you a big thank you to all that were involved with his care. The nurses were great, thanks Robin for always making sure he had hot coffee. The cna’s were very caring. Also making sure he had everything he needed. A huge thank you to his therapist Andy & Zach, you two were amazing. He still talks about the air hockey table to this day. Last but not least, a BIG thank you to Sue K., We knew our dad would be in great hands with you there. ❤️ Thank you again, From his children, Laura, Mark and Chad.
I am so appreciative of the care I received. I was there 2 different times and was pleased with my care. If I am need of care again, I will definitely choose The Timbers. God bless all of you.
Was there for 5 days Hospice Respite . Care was adequate but within that 5 days, discharged missing 4 nightgowns and one pair of new glasses. Nightgowns should never have left the room.
I have visited my friend Susie for the last 2 weeks and her concern of contracting bed bugs is at the most high yes the building may look beautiful until you actually tourer the facility staffing at the nurse station is very concerned at why the bed bug issue is still not being addressed in the correct manor please be aware and concerned of how easily bed bug are contracted and if not treated correctly in a timely manor how easily it can spread please if you have loved ones at The Timbers of case county Atrium centers in Dowagiac Michigan please got check in on them look for bite marks on the body and furniture and clothing I understand bugs are easily to be brought into the facility but our family does not understand why this issue is still being untreated
I can’t say enough about the entire staff at the Timbers of Cass County. From the administration to the CNA’s, RN’s and anyone else that I’m missing, everyone has been so kind, patient and understanding with the transition and care of my 98 year old grandmother. Timbers is beautiful and very welcoming when you enter. The rooms are clean and tidy and well taken care of. My grandmother has really like the food that is prepared for her, whether she goes down to the any of the 3 different dining rooms, or if she decides to have breakfast in bed. Compliments to the chef! They have so many activities that she can attend and they have a church service on Sundays that she has enjoyed. Again, the staff have been amazing, especially the CNA’s and RN’s.
