I picked my dad up from Villa a the park today, they bathe them every four days, my dad wear a catheter and told them he need to bathe at least every 2 days because he doesn’t want to get and infection. The bedding is dirty and strained. They cuss at the patients and treat them like trash when they are only there to get help and be rehabilitated and strengthened. They do not help nor work with the patient to be rehabilitated but only to collect a check. If OSHA come in this place will be shut down, it smells, the way they have someone loved ones living if they knew they would be mortified. I spoke with a One of their patients today and she told me she been in a wheelchair for eight months and they blamed it on her for being in the wheelchair when they are the ones that’s responsible for helping to rehabilitate and strengthen the patient so they could live a normal healthy life, no one should live like this, when I picked up my father today, sitting on his bed, was an old catheter at the foot of his bed with urine traces in it .And reading all the other reviews, they are telling the truth. Someone needs to step in and help these patients shut down this place because it is not livable nor feasible for anyone. I give this place a negative, negative, negative 0 for caring for patients and their health, my father cannot stand on his own nor walk, and not once have they ever helped him to accomplish his strength back, I am crying for help. Someone needs to come in and save these patients from this terrible place who only want to collect a check. every time I called my dad, there was always an excuse why I could not speak to him and finally I said to them every time I called there is an excuse. The only thing I want to do is hear my father‘s voice and make sure he is OK and doing well finally after 10 minutes they put my dad on the phone and the very first thing he said to me was I am in the wrong place come and get me. I spoke Two other patients there and they told me they want to leave. I feel so sorry for the people who are left behind in this place by loved ones because they are neglecting these patients. They are human, no matter the circumstances. and everybody deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. The only thing we want is our loved ones to live a normal healthy life and this place villa in the park is only neglecting and treating these adults like they do not matter, everyone matters. The nurses who worked there are rude and incompetent. Low air circulations at Villa in the park, there is no park only darkness. Please shut this place down. It is not feasible.

I would NOT recommend this facility to my worst enemy! If you take a patient in, you should ensure that you have the proper equipment to care for that patients needs! My (step) daughter had to bring a nebulizer so that her Mother could get the breathing treatments she needed to improve her condition. The room was extremely warm with no restroom inside of the room.which only worsened her condition! Obviously, money is a priority over the basic care of patients. Bottom line...don't take patients if you can't care for them properly!

DO NOT!! Trust these people with your loved ones, this is by far the worst facility I have come across. They don’t care about your family and take advantage of them in the process

This place is horrible and nasty. They took my mom knowing they didn’t have the equipment needed. My mom was in there for 3 weeks without any treatment for her lung cancer. This place should be shut down immediately and permanently.

Horrible horrible place do not send anyone you love here outdated facility horrible calllight system light switch with string attached that barely works then CNA staff unprofessional laying in empty bed while pt is in room , restroom not in rooms so it takes 40 plus minutes to get call light answered pt with wound left in feces I was told pt goes poop too much they can't keep changing her this facility took my mom as a pt with respiratory issues need a breathing treatment 5c a day they didn't even have the equipment to treat her for 2 weeks I had to bring one in for her therapy horrible ordered were 2x a day but only got it 2x in 2 weeks this facility is horrible and must be stopped they left my mom in a hot room wouldn't answer call light my mom and roommates screamed for help unanswered when my aunt arrived he called 911 my mom is serious trouble with her breathing and was put on a vent

Amazing staff & very welcoming.

REFUSAL OF LAW ALLOWED WHEELCHAIR My low rating is only for the administration and the faulty "chan of command" because the serious medical needs I request to have resolved, do not get resolved. They refuse my highly specialized Rehabilation wheelchair for me to use which violates numerous State and Federal Laws, like the ADA, prohibiting prescribed electric wheelchairs violates both federal ADA regulations and Michigan resident rights provisions. Facilities must allow motorized chairs to ensure mobility, independence, and access, only restricting them based on legitimate safety requirements. Legal Compliance: Refusing motorized chairs can violate 42 CFR 483.10(l) regarding personal possessions and 42 CFR 483.25(a) regarding self-sufficiency. Nursing/rehab facilities must allow individuals with disabilities to use power-driven mobility devices. THEY MUST ALLOW MY WHEELCHAIR

All nursing homes are under pressure .Seeing how many are they are well taken care of.The food is very good, and the place is clean The security is top notch
