Village at Appledorn

From the moment you first walk in the door you are greeted with a welcoming smile by Katy. Comfortable chairs around a fireplace with soft music in the background fill the lobby Then Jennifer will come and give you a tour of this lovely establishment A charming dining room where delectable meals are served four days a week and other activities are held for your laughter and enjoyment Is on the immediate left Then in the far back is the hub of the place where Rob the head of maintenance and Ray are headquaeted. Discussing the repairs that Need to be done that day or the several feet of snow that needs to be removed or let’s not forget the trash that we just get to deposit in a room down the hall You have a choice of either taking the stairs or going up The elevator Second floor has a lovely library where sweet ladies Put puzzles together in their spare time and there’s a computer in the corner for your use Next we have an exercise room with a scale that works hallelujah we all need that room after the fine meals served in the dining room not to mention all the snacks with the activities Every floor has washers and dryers with sinks and folding tables so convenient just like Mama‘s house where I grew up There’s halls to walk for exercise if you don’t like the exercise room there’s Becky in the front office who will answer all your questions and help with any problems and let’s not forget Laura, They encouraged And Prayer wants to help in anyway she can Definitely Appledorn is a place that you wanna think about coming to if you want a relaxing place that’s superbly runned, maintained, With all the little extras

Our thanks to Appledorn Village! Remembering when we first came to view the Appledorn Village we were very impressed. Living here has changed our lives in many different directions. Since we first became friends with other people living here and also the friendly office staff, maintenance workers and especially the activity staff who make living here very enjoyable. We've been there for each other through so many good times and bad, with support, laughter and love. Sharing the crazy things we've laughed about, because that is what good friends do. This is a place where it is easy to laugh, to let things go, to kick back, and enjoy the here and now. It's great! About the greatest thing anyone could give. We want to thank you big time for that. That's what we want to offer right back to you. Whatever the situation calls for - laughter, a shoulder, or juicy gossip, a glass of wine. You know the stuff it takes to blow off steam, have a little fun and de-stress. We can count on you for all that. And you can count on the fact that we'll enjoy every minute of our time together.
