Our family can not say enough about her care team at the facility. On the day of her passing they even displayed a bouquet in her honor on the grand piano. So many staff told us wonderful memories they had with her. Some staff even told us they visited her on their days off and had their lunch break helping feed her and spend time with her. My grandma who had Alzheimer’s recently passed away and lived at Village Manor for 3 years. The staff was beyond thoughtful, caring and friendly. Our family can not say enough about her care team at the facility. On the day of her passing they even displayed a bouquet in her honor on the grand piano. So many staff told us wonderful memories they had with her. Some staff even told us they visited her on their days off and had their lunch break helping feed her and spend time with her. I want to especially shout out: Jacob, the chaplain, Dayna, Connor and Heather, some of her favorites among others. They were so supportive through the very end. They truly loved and cared for my grandma as if she was their own, even on her hardest days. I truly will miss coming to visit my grandma and the amazing staff at village manor.
The whole experience with Village Manor, Howell was outstanding. The sales process was friendly, there were no surprises, the facility is clean and doesn't have that nursing home smell. The food was outstanding. And the individual people were dedicated and concerned for my brother. Nothing short of amazing happened there.
I think there could be more variety in some of the meals offered. I love how they have music acts, bingo, Friday happy hours, crafts and sound much more. The staff really seems to care about my mother, and that means the world to me. I gave care a "4" because there is a lot of turnover, especially in the overnight hours.

Village Manor is very willing to work with your specific needs. Lots of amenities. Staff is cheerful, kind and very helpful. Great care given. Facility is very clean. Atmosphere is very upbeat. Lots of useful stores near by. Interior is open and cheerful. They provide religious services. They provide HomeMD so most medical services can be dine indoors.
Village Manor is a nice facility for my mother in law. So far she is happy considering it was a last minute move and decision. A very big adjustment
Villiage Manor Retirement community is outstanding, this is the best facility that I have ever visited. The staff is attentive to the needs of the residents and holds special activities regularly, and has events to bring families and guests together regularly. An on site Hospis is available to for last days care that works closely with the manor staff and nurses for comfort care. If you or a family member may be considering a retirement community, take the time to visit and tour the Village Manor in Hartland
My dad moved to Village Manor Retirement. The atmosphere is vibrant. It seemed like there was a lot of activity. The rooms were clean. There's a lot of light and everyone was very, very nice. They had a really good follow up. After I inquired, they got back to me fairly quickly and were very responsive. The administration staff is wonderful. My dad says the food is good. They have a lot of different things going on for everybody and anybody to pick and choose from. They are very active there. Knowing what the competitors charge, it's a good value.
Village Manor is a beautiful place to live. My mother-in-law lived there for about 6 months before she passed and the staff were kind and caring and took great care of her. Now my father-in-law lives there and he is very happy there. The activities that Village Manor has are wonderful. Last night Premier Big Band played a Christmas concert last night. They played for an hour and a half and my father-in-law had a smile on his face the whole time and he was signing to all the songs. Village Manor is a great place for seniors! Village Manor has everything you will need. Chef John and his staff make meals that are very good. All of the staff and gracious and kind. You won't be disappointed if you have family move in.
