I gave a 5 rating, because it is every thing I thought it would be. I call the Gibraltar Manor my family. The 4 rating is , the rent is a little higher than I expected, but me and my husband love it here.
The Villages of Gibraltar Manor was a very nice place. It was almost too polished. I didn't go into the cafeteria. I went to visit somebody there, and they kind of showed me their place. The kitchen was very nice. They serve food there if I want it. I know they have a lot of events going on there because the girlfriend that I went to visit does a lot of stuff there. My girlfriend said the food is pretty good, but I haven't tried anything. She loves the facilities.

Be careful and monitor your loved one at this place , our family member was influenced to sign everything over to the manager of this complex , took bank account, life insurance and his property, and family wasn't informed about his passing , he was buried under a POA when there was a WILL in place , very underhanded people running the complex, Please beware of your loved one at this place ., The family was devastated 😔. BE MINDFUL of your loved ones .
Don’t do it … take you loved ones else where .. very rude staff, absolutely unacceptable, they think they have control of your elderly family, it’s a prison. Awful , Rude staff … tying to tell the family what decision they need to make for their loved one.. oh hell, no not the their business!!!!!!!
My husband and I have no complaints about living here. The staff are very nice and friendly and they keep the complex very clean and neat. They keep us active and they really care about us. They even go to the hospital and check in on the ones who end up in the hospital. This place is everything I thought it would be, we love it here. Based on our experience so far we would definitely recommend Gibraltar Manor to other families.
I have recommended this place to all my friends.
Gibraltar would be a great place to live. Lots of amenities, nice people, very clean. They have a 6 month waiting list. Maybe later we could look into this community upon availability.
