I wavered about sharing our experience, being a guest at your facility. My loved one was a guest there for rehab services on two occasions. I wavered about sharing our experience, being a guest at your facility. My loved one was a guest there for rehab services on two occasions. Upon being admitted on a Monday, I gave my loved one a shower, she was supposed to get a shower on Wednesday and Saturday those were her days which she received on Wednesday, I came for a visit on Saturday she never received a shower or bed linens changed as protocol. That was the first week which was a two week stay, her showers were not given or offered as per policy. For a guest that is alert and orientated this experience saddens me for working in the nursing community for over 20 years providing customer service, patient care and being a patient advocate for our loved ones. I spoke with a nurse manager regarding a staffing concern that occurred during our first stay, with a certain nurse, terrible bedside etiquette I asked that he not assist my loved one during her second stay, she was assisted with the same nurse, so I spoke to the administrator/don regarding this issue she stated this was a staffing concern instead of addressing and correcting immediately. The therapy department works hard for the patients and our community to heal and assist them on their journey. The nursing staff needs improvement, bedside etiquette, patience, job description and exactly what is expected of them during their shifts. This facility consists of 8 hour shifts at least provide 1 cup of fresh water per shift change and properly introduce your self whether you are a caregiver, nurse or another department. Lastly a communication board in the guests rooms that can be updated per shift to let everyone know who their staff is would be helpful in future guests and loved ones coming to your facility.I pray and hope this communication doesn't go unacknowledged for potential guests and for the long term guests that have made this place there forever home due to unforseen choices as I have heard being a guest they are unhappy meaning not satisfied with staffing and how they are being treated.

My brother was in this place for nearly a month. I had to fight to get him out. He was vomiting for weeks. I took him back to the hospital and he ended up having 2 ulcers. I do not recommend this place. No one seemed to care!!

They are currently ‘taking care’ of my mother. From what i heard the day shift is wonderful and decent but my mom has been neglected and treated horribly all night. She paged for over an hour to get someone to help her to the bathroom as she is not able to move and no one came. She also was promised a walker and someone to hold onto her with a cord like the hospital had but haven’t given her that either. Please talk to your night team and get your crap together or I will file legal action. Thanks.

After my mother had a stroke, my family was in complete disarray. When she was released from the hospital, we were extremely worried about what the future would hold, especially after she lost her ability to walk. She was sent to WellBridge of Novi by Dr. Shuker, and the care she received gave our entire family peace. I am very involved in my mother’s care, and the team at WellBridge was understanding, patient, and collaborative. I visited my mom seven days a week, so I was able to see firsthand what happens there. I can honestly say that many of the associates became like family to us. So many nursing assistants and nurses went above and beyond to care for my mom. Management was always present and responded quickly whenever issues came up. Gio and Shay were phenomenal and never became frustrated. The social workers were fantastic, and Kelly always went above and beyond to help our family. Deb, one of the nursing assistants, was an angel. She even bought my mom gifts, which she did not have to do, but she did out of the kindness of her heart. There were so many amazing and caring nurses, including Kaylin, Desmond, Ferdie, Jessica, Rose, Chey, Talia, Sonny, and many others. The nursing assistants were also wonderful, including Jordan, Dejane, Deb, Matthew, Latoya and so many more. I even built a relationship with the receptionists, Christine and April. (I apologize if I missed anyone!) My goal was always to get my mom closer to home and closer to our church, and today was our last day at WellBridge. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Shuker and the entire team at WellBridge of Novi. No nursing home is perfect, but this place will do everything they can to help you and your loved one. My advice to any family is to stay involved, ask questions, and be present. Family involvement is key. Thank you, WellBridge of Novi, for showing my mother and my family the care, compassion, and support we needed after her stroke.

This is an amazing place for healing staff is very welcoming and supportive. I would definitely recommend my family here 🫶🏽

I came to visit no one was at the front desk. I waited what seemed to be at least 10 mins. Once the lady arrived. She didn’t apologize nor did she have good customer service.I would think the front desk staff would be friendly as they are the face of the facility, but not so much.

Great rehab center, very clean and helpful staff

I was here about 5 years again and I didn’t think I would return. This has changed, I recently was in the hospital and needed rehab. I was hesitant to return but I am happy I did. The first thing I noticed was the parking lot was full. When I walked through the door I was greeted with smiles! First impressions matter. Although they are not perfect, I know they are focused on what they want to be and that is better than the day before.
