Whole building was clean and orderly. Had a "homey" feel to it. Rooms kept clean and sanitary. Most meals were prepared and delivered hot/warm. Much better food then given in hospital. Good variety offered. ONLY main concern was the midnight shift of staff. Either they were understaffed-or just unresponsive when I used the call light, and would wait indefinitely for help to arrive. Once I could get out of bed and use the walker, I would search the building until I found a staff member and convey my need/problem to them. Otherwise, I may never have gotten help!!!! Day, afternoon and evening…

Day, afternoon and evening staff was the opposite and usually quick to respond. PT and OT were very thoughtful and through. Exercises and strength-building rapidly improved my condition. Saw the doctor regularly-three times a week. Social Worker and other staff were very cordial and very helpful
3 expensive outfits were removed from my wife's room. I told the staff I would be responsible for laundry. Each morning , my wife wound be dressed in nightclose but her day outfit disappeared The staff reported they would check into the matter. No further results!

My mother in law passed away here bc she was left in her room on oxygen and not checked on. She was found unresponsive after over an hour and they tried to do CPR and claimed they revived her. When we got to the hospital we were told by a doctor that she had been brain dead for well over an hour. We were told that her C-PAP mask was lowering her oxygen so they put her nasal cannula back on and her oxygen came back up. When we told that to the ER Doctor he said that was highly unlikely. That the edema in her brain says she was gone for at least two hours no less than an hour. If you love your family member this is not the place to put them! This facility is always short staffed and they are not equipped to handle the more difficult patients. It was not like that in the beginning. The staff has changed the ownership has changed and my mother in law is dead!!! Stay away from here!
Staff isn't the greatest..run down out dated and dirty
We have had two family members at LW, (one past and one present). While the argument could be made that there is not enough staff, that would be true of most every business in todays world. We have found the staff to be competent, kind and caring. Any identified concerns have been quickly and professionally addressed. Thanks to all!!
I wouldn't let this place take care of my dog! They never answer the phone, never get back to a voicemail for days. The nurses are very nasty and uncaring. Left my father in a soiled diaper for 5 hours, wouldn't give him a shower for a week. So my advise is run,run, run away. There is so much more but you get the picture of the care at this facility.
Caring staff goes above and beyond!
