If i ever need a place to go to i would hope my family would consider here ... Great staff... Homey environment... 5 👍
when my husband needed temporary respite care, the team made him feel welcomed immediately. no awkwardness or feeling like a temporary guest. we're looking at permanent placement for next year.
the memory care wing is secure but doesn't feel like a prison. there's an enclosed garden where residents can sit outside safely. my dad recognizes me less these days but he's comfortable here.
the assisted living apartment is a good size with its own bathroom and kitchenette. maintenance is responsive when something needs fixing. the rent is reasonable for what you get here in bay city.
my mom's doing really well there with her dementia care. the staff actually pays attention to how she's doing day to day, talks to her doctors, and keeps us in the loop about everything. honestly we feel so much better knowing she's in good hands at Willows of Bay City.
visiting dad is never stressful here. the front desk staff greets us warmly, the hallways are well lit and easy to navigate. the common areas are peaceful without feeling institutional.
The nurse practitioner checks in regularly and always takes the time to listen to our concerns. When my dad started having side effects from one of his medications, she quickly coordinated with his doctor to make the necessary adjustments. The issue was addressed within a few days, and we really appreciated how responsive and attentive she was.
My mother attended the painting class last month and came home with artwork I'm actually going to frame. She felt proud of herself, and I loved seeing that spark.
