My grandfather lived at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman for the last part of his life and I can’t express how grateful we are for the wonderful care he received. From the first call with Lisa in admissions, to the nurse, Cindy making sure his medical needs were met- we were impressed. You can tell the staff really care about their residents. Knowing he was safe and taken care of, made being “just family” a great experience. 10/10 recommend for anyone who is looking for compassionate care and great customer service!
Making the decision to get more help for care of a loved one with dementia is one of the toughest decisions. It was time for my wife to get that needed additional memory care and we turned to Woodland Terrace in Bridgman. We toured Woodland Terrace. The staff was superb. The facilities were lovely, all on one level. It's large enough to have activities, but small enough to get personalized care. Also, it's more affordable than in Illinois. They had nice grounds, a walking path, a little pond, a beauty salon, a library, and smaller-sized game rooms that were close to the rooms, so my mom would not have to walk very far. That was a big thing for me because Mom was at the point where she couldn't go very far on her own.
I will be moving into the Woodland Terrace on the 30th of May. It's very well-maintained. It's very clean and bright. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. She's followed up with me to assist with the admissions paperwork and all those kinds of things. She's been very responsive. The food looks great. I saw a menu. I also happened to be there at lunchtime, so I saw people eating. They provide very nutritious meals and plenty of food. The people that spoke to me, both residents and the staff were very friendly, obviously very happy. Every resident that I spoke to highly recommended living at Woodland. And I didn't hear a single complaint.
I am extremely happy with this facility for my mom. The staff is great and I love that they keep my mom busy with activities in Lilac.
Woodland Terrace was an excellent facility. Everything about it was perfect. The staff was thorough, the rooms were spotless, and good size. Everything was great. The best part about it was it's only half a mile from our house. They were working with the residents when we got there. So, they seemed quite busy.
My mother received excellent care for three years. The staff was caring and attentive. It was a difficult decision to place her in assisted living but the advice and admitting staff eased the transition.
Everything is very good and I'm happy with Woodland Terrace, I've had no complaints. My mother's room is very nice and everything meets her needs just fine. They don't have a library, but they have a salon for the residents. Once a week they take the residents somewhere outside the community, like to the zoo, garden, restaurants or some type of outside activity. They also have regular activities inside every day.
