Nice home. Have visited a couple of times for meetings the administrator is very knowledgeable and helpful. Clean.
Extremely pleased with the care they gave my handicapped neighbor when she lived there, very loving caring staff, I recommend them for all
My sister in law is there. She has been a resident there fora few months.I talk to her several times a day. I will try to call the office especially late 2nd shift and 3rd shift it goes to voice-mail She will be laying in bed yelling and yelling for staff they don't come. When they do come it is right in and out they don't give her enough time to get out what she needs. She cannot get out of bed without help. She cannot move without help. Her room is a mess After dinner and 3rd shift their are only two staff for 18 residents. One night I had Arun in with staff when she came in the room very unpleasant I know she was eavesdropping on are conversation by what she had to say. They did not get her up for lunch fed her late had to warm it up. Why? Don't know.

My Uncle is at Living Joy. I am not 100% pleased with the services mostly the 2 staff on shift and not many food options. Besides that I feel this is a great place to place a loved one. The care team is very honest and experienced from what I have seen over the years. They become apart of the family in a way. No place is perfect but this place should not be bashed the way it is. This place is great with care. Could use tweaking but who cant! They get 3.5/5 stars from me!
Excellent care!! Mom is safe, warm and well cared for. The staff are continually focused in on addressing her daily needs (as they are with other residents). Although she is unable to speak, her thankfulness is evident and I know she is pleased. I have witnessed her patting their hands, hugging them with open arms and sometimes, as a staff members are bending over to help, she kisses their cheek. Thank you, thank you to Living Joy staff for ALL you do - am so grateful!!
Absolutely awful place. Soup and sandwiches for dinner every night out of a crock pot... The place smells like it hasn't been deep cleaned in years. They lose all of your loved ones clothing as well as other things like phones!? Ridiculous. The woman who runs it has a terrible attitude. All in all a gross little facility with a nasty woman running it.
I advise AGAINST this facility!!! They have brown stains on the towels they have your loved ones drying their hands and washing their face with. They're too cheap to buy bleach to properly clean anything. If a resident has an accident they throw the clothes away and tell you they must be in another closet when you ask about them. The woman who runs the building ([name removed]) is absolutely awful as well. If you go to her with a question or concern she dismisses it because it "doesn't affect her. " I thought the people in these places were kind, caring people and she is definitely not.
