4.5 · 42 reviewsAmerican House. An independent living facility, is a phenomenal place. Staff are kind, attentive, fun, professional. This attitude spills over to residents that are so friendly. Folks are comfortable here. And the meals are incredible!!! Better than many restaurants!! They are doing something right for sure!!! Cleanliness is key and when you walk in, it feels like a lovely hotel! Art on the walls, sitting areas inside and out, tasteful decor. If one is looking for such a place, please visit it, you will not be sorry and you might even sign on the dotted line!
I had a really good experience here! Jennifer Romero was super nice and very helpful the whole time. She made everything easy and comfortable. The building also looked really clean and nice inside, which made it even better. Definitely appreciate the great service!
Jennifer Romero is the symbol of professionalism she is kind, caring, & treats everyone like family. She is a hard worker who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She always has a smile on her face even when she has every reason not to and is just a joy to be around.

My name is Barb Saxton. I live at American House Meridian Jennifer Romero is very personable always willing to help you has helped me out several times when I have forgotten something I love her she always has a smile on her face no matter what’s going on. She’s also on the ball with answering the phone. In fact one day I got out of the hospital very late. and she stayed there late to make sure I got in OK and it was about 11 o’clock at night not many people do that.
I toured American House Meridian today and came away very impressed with the warm, welcoming environment and the quality of the community. The building is beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed, but what stood out most was the friendly staff and the comfortable atmosphere for residents. It really feels like a place where people can enjoy their independence while knowing support is available if and when it’s needed. As a local Realtor who often helps seniors and families with downsizing and transition planning in the Greater Lansing area, I’m always looking for places I can confidently recommend. American House Meridian is definitely one I will be sharing with my clients. Thank you to Brooke and her team for taking the time to provide such an informative and enjoyable tour.
