3.9 · 94 reviewsThe staff were very nice and accommodating. Facility was clean. Therapy staff were nice. Imesha was truly professional and made my mother’s stay more tolerable for me. Having a parent ill and out of their home is very hard. Imesha was extremely kind and the gold standard for nurse case management.
Everyone was kind, compassionate, and helpful. My mom was only there for one week on hospice, but everyone there made her and her family feel like they knew us forever. Which made my mom's passing more peaceful. Very knowledgable and professional at a time when we needed it the most! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.
The facility is wonderful! The staff always go above and beyond. They provide great care. The facility is very clean.

You can tell everyone there truly cares about people. They are kind, patient, and helpful. My MIL is in memory care and fits in so well there. We were nervous for her being in a different environment but she has adapted well and has made a friend. They mainly plot and scheme how to escape but the staff has a good sense of humor about it. Overall highly recommend!
My brother is in American House Westland Venoy. It is wonderful. The director there, Cindy, was awesome. She explained everything and showed us around. Everybody just seemed so nice there. So far, my brother likes it. The staff gave us options on what to expect and what different programs they have there. The size of his room is perfect. It has everything that he needs. It's got sliding glass doors to go out to his patio. I thought it was very nice. Everything looks clean and fresh. They have card games, bingo, arts and crafts, and entertainment.
I have to clean certain things myself. I won't recommend it especially if the person wasn't totally independent it. The food is not always good and they can't keep good help. The people there are friendly but the facility needs to have some improvements.
One reason we chose American House Westland was that lower entrance fee. Also their rent was a little bit lower. But when we toured the apartment it was very clean and the staff were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. There is a non-refundable community fee payable for these places - for am house Westland the venoy it is $[removed]. For the other am hse in Westland (unaffiliated with venoy )it is $[removed[. Someone who is trying to move in there has to come up with a sizeable chunk of money.
American House Westland Venoy was decorated beautifully. It's clean. They were extremely friendly and super nice. It's just the cost. It's $2500 when you could get a studio for $1300 in another place. That's an extreme difference. The staff seemed wonderful. The atmosphere seemed very cozy and welcoming. The sizes of the rooms were decent and the layout was good.
