The staff is attentive, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. It is such a warm, welcoming environment where the residents are always happy and greet you with a smile. Highly recommend!
I got to stay at avista nursing and rehab for the past week and a half. This facility is the best. The staff is kind caring and always aware of each individuals needs. They all were on top of my special diet and always were sharing with me my sugar readings and always making sure I got all my meds on time. I would love to live with them. The food is amazing.i live it here.❤️😊
The nursing staff was great and attended to all my uncle’s needs during his stay. The PT girls were wonderful and worked closely with him every day. They focused on building his strength, improving his balance, and helping him regain the confidence he needed to get up and walk again. They were patient, encouraging, and truly cared about his progress. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to answer questions or help when needed. We are grateful for the care and support he received during his recovery. I have no issue with recommending Avista to anyone in need of…

Patients are very loved and cared for!!!
Avista (formerly known as heartland healthcare) didn’t just earn its nickname “heartless” but owns it every day. The “I just checked on the patient 15 minutes ago” is usually where we find rigor set in. No need for a dnr here, the staff will take care of that.
All the staffing is very helpful and caring.
My husband was here for almost a month. He was in rehab being admitted from the hospital. After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about the care he would receive. I must say we were extremely pleased with his care- he had a great staff of therapist ‘s and nurses that encouraged his hard work and worked through some of his struggles (he has Alzheimer’s) EVERYONE from the nurses to the work staff were sweet and kind to us. If I had a question they would find the answer- Their smiles and hard work are noted here! If he would need more rehab - it would be our choice- we live over an hour from Avista. Thank you for your love concern and care.
I called late in the evening, stressed and concerned about trying to find a place for my Grandmother. Not only did they answer the phone, they were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and patient with me. The level of kindness and information provided was so appreciated. Thank you!
