A great place to live! Attentive staff, clean building and grounds, friendly neighbors and a good catering company make this place A#1!
The manager there is very rude, says she won’t help anyone
My apartment is just the right size for me. Easy to keep up.
We have worked with the great folks at Swanhaven on events at are venue in Merrill. Jessica is a great with communicating and letting us know there agenda for when they arrive. We also love having conversations with the folks.
I had the opportunity to visit this retirement community and it really gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling! The rooms are very nice and I would recommend anyone I know to look here if they are in need of a retirement place.
Facility is well maintained; grounds are well kept and neat & clean. Office staff and Maintenance staff are responsive and knowledgeable and always have time for any resident's questions or concerns & explains the problem or situation in detail and works to resolve it satisfactorily to all parties concerned. Custodial does an Excellent job and keeping the facility neat and very clean.
Grandma has gotten her independence back and her own space. She is cooking, cleaning, hosting guests for dinner and going to events that Swanhaven has like bingo, music, cards, etc. at [age removed] that is impressive because for two years she was living with family and not wanting to do anything. Grandma has not decorated for a holiday in a very long time and she put up a tree and had door decorations for Christmas. She also wanted Easter decorations to set out so we helped her get those. The people around her encourage her to want to do these things because they are all doing them and having fun. Now does she still talk about her house she lived in for years - of course and does she wish she could go "home" yes but that's not an option so this is a safe and healthy environment where there are people who genuinely check in on her and she can live independently but 5 minutes from my mom (not 3 hours which is where her home is). If you did not get my response to the survey thing send me another link because I did delete it after I thought I submitted it.
Morning safety check is nice. Home health services are available. Apartment size is adequate. A variety of activities is offered.
