This facility is dangerously understaffed, poorly managed, and negligent. While I want to acknowledge that many of the nurses and aides themselves were kind and tried to help, they were clearly overwhelmed and unsupported by management. The staffing situation was so inadequate that it directly affected patient safety. My mother was left waiting over an hour when she needed help to use the restroom. As a result of the neglect, she developed a bed sore. Her medications were mishandled, which is completely unacceptable in a skilled nursing environment. We were told that my mother was admitted specifically to receive physical therapy. Shockingly, she never saw an actual physical therapist in person until her final day, and she went her entire stay without a single. Getting anything done required repeated calls and constant follow-up, making management a nightmare to deal with. Families should not have to fight this hard for basic, ordered care. This experience was absolutely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering this facility for a loved one. The level of care provided here does not meet the standards of a skilled nursing facility

They could not tell me directly when the last time my grandma was shower weather it be a bed bath or an actual shower Was really not pleased to have my mom tell me my grandmas hair is knotted sense Tuesday an then I come in Friday an it’s was so knotted I had to pull it apart to even brush it I made sure my grandma was showered before I headed home

Best place in big rapids for your loved ones they have a very caring team at the orchards
