This facility is one of my favorite facilities to work at through agency. The facility is always clean when I go there no odor and that’s a plus for me. I’m a newer nurse and being able to go to the Administrator and DON for help is amazing to me. I’ve worked with the Administrator before she is a genuinely caring person. I definitely learned a lot under her direction. I want to thank her for her patience and for taking the time out to teach me or answer any questions I’ve had. The residents and families seem to be happy and that’s what matters the most. Definitely will recommend!
The facility is small but everyone is a TEAM. The DON and Administration, and management is Awesome when it comes to the Residents
Worst place ever the administrator won't pay you and she's very ghetto and rude no respect for the workers then DON wants you to move fast but she can't move fast at all they both never help on the floor unless state is there all of management is rude the whole place smells like urine never has supplies so patients have no wipes to clean them a very unorganized building
My family member was a resident at Bloomfield Orchard Villa for over 5 years! It is a small building and clearly a “home away from home”! Communication was easily accessible due to its size! The staff was friendly and supportive! The activities were tailored to her level of care that kept her very busy from holiday parties ,entertainment, Bingo, weekly ice cream socidd added, movies, daily exercise, current events, pet therapy and room visits and when she wasn’t up to leaving her room! Dietary tried hard to accommodate her preferences! The Social worker was very caring!
I have my Mom in this place and I think it was the best decision I ever made she’s always clean and over all she’s doing great on her health and all the staff do a great job!!
My father was in there for 4 days. He had a catheter reinserted and by the next morning there was a significant amount of blood. I let the DON know. Also he needed a mattress to help with bedsores and a frame that would accommodate his 6’4! height. I returned that evening and his stomach was descended and there was no irons output in the catheter, just dark blood. The two nurses on duty that night were rude and one was sitting at the desk with earbuds in. I said I wanted Him to go to the hospital. An hour and a half went by before they finally called an ambulance. He is being treated in the hospital for hematuria dehydration.
I've been visiting friends at this place for over a year. The staff is really nice and the residents (who know how nice it is) appreciate the beautiful surroundings and caretakers. When someone has a bad experience here, it might be due to circumstances outside the control of this administration. Visit for yourself and see the difference.
It has a roof and walls.
