Briar Hills Assisted Living gets a rating of “10” from me! As a registered nurse, I’ve toured many group homes to assist patients and families with transitions of care. I recently needed to find an assisted living/group home following a hospitalization of a family member. Our loved one had complex health care needs that could not be addressed at all assisted living homes. When I toured Briar Hills Assisted Living and spoke with Alina Deac, I knew that this home would be exceptional in caring for our loved one and I was right! Alina was professional, compassionate, caring, willing to go the extra mile for her residents and families. I cannot speak highly enough of her TLC for the patients in her charge. Our family member loved being at Briar Hills Assisted Living from the start. She raved about the home-cooked food, the attentive personal care and the personal attention she received from Alina & staff. Alina and her staff were responsive, committed to their work, excellent at communicating with family and with health care professionals. The fact that Alina is a nurse is a huge plus. She knows how to assess, ensure appropriate care is provided, administers & manages the complexities of medications, and knows when to notify the doctor of care issues. This facility is family owned and operated. The owners and caregivers, Alina and Alex, care for their residents as they would care for their own parents. They are loving and attentive, and no need escapes their notice. The home is lovely , always clean and the yard is also beautiful. The food is very good, homemade, and that's important to someone who has all their meals there. My father appreciated their loving care very much, and our family did, too. We will always be very grateful to Alina and Alex!
My mom lived at Briar hill for 4 years. Briar Hill is a small place for 8 residents. It is set in a beautiful, quiet. neighborhood. They are very caring toward the residents. My mom was very well taken off and loved. I would highly recommend this place.

I am so very grateful for the loving care that my mother received at Briar Hill Assisted Living. From day one my mother and our family were treated with so much kindness and respect. The physical and emotional care she received was above and beyond anything we could have expected. The house is immaculate, and the food was delicious. I especially loved that they painted moms' nails, kept her so clean and made sure her music was always on. This was the perfect choice for our dear mother. I cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us, and I would highly recommend Briar Hill Assisted Living.
Sometimes you have the fortune of discovering or experiencing something that is just simply better than everything else. I, without hesitation, can say that Briar Hill is superior to so many of the other choices in memory/assisted living care. It's difficult to find a facility owned and operated by people who will treat your loved one as a member of their own family, but that's exactly what you'll find. The house itself is thoughtfully decorated, each resident's room having personal touches., and the kitchen often smells of something delicious being prepared. Visiting feels like you're walking into a family members home where you can hang out and stay as long as you like. Mom even got her nails filed and polished regularly! When mom was in the hospital, the owners came to visit her and say goodbye. They are truly remarkable people and I was so lucky to find Briar Hill. I will forever be in debt to the owners and staff for the loving care my mom received.
My mom had Alzheimer’s and had a bad experience at another facility. We moved her to Briar Hill and received wonderful care. The place is small and extremely clean, with an outside porch with wonderful plants that becomes a welcoming place for the residents to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Each resident receives great care. The caregivers are very caring and loving. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has a family member needing special care.
My dear husband with late stage Alzheimer’s had been in a large memory care facility. Due to decline of care there, we moved him to Briar Hill where he spent his last 5 weeks in ]name removed] wonderful care. I can’t say enough good things about [name removed] , who is an RN, Alex, her husband. They did everything possible to help [name removed] and my son and me. Their home is spotless but so comfortable with beautiful porches and outdoor spaces.. I’m so grateful for their living care!
My brother is happy here. The home is very small. They are not offering him activities. There are not alot of residents here. He does seem happy here. I have not been able to have a meal with him. He seems to be mostly happy with the meals here. The couple that are taking care of my brother is happy with them both. I would recommend this community to other families for good care.
