Church of Christ came through for us when we needed them the most!! 🥰After several years of caregiving in my home, I was WAY past caregiver burnout. Church of Christ came through for us when we needed them the most!! 🥰After several years of caregiving in my home, I was WAY past caregiver burnout. I knew It was time to find a place for my special loved one to reside, and I was terrified to make the move. I knew I needed a place that I could trust-a place that cared about my guy as much as I did. After looking at several places, I was getting discouraged-until I called Church of Christ for information on their facility. This is when I spoke to Robin, the marketing director, and I shared our story. I sensed that she genuinely cared. I was impressed with her gentle way of listening as I poured my heart out. I don’t know why but it felt like I was talking to family in a sense.I was so excited to see the facility so I went the next day to take a tour. I fell in love with it!! Why? Because it felt like home. It wasn’t like all the other facilities. The dining room felt like I was in my grandmas kitchen. It just felt right. The staff was so friendly and inviting, and I for the first time knew my prayers were answered. He would get the care he needs so I could take better care of myself! I signed up that day and went home relieved, a huge weight being lifted from me. I was afraid to introduce Church of Christ to my loved one, because I felt like I was giving up on him. And I didn’t want him to feel like I didn’t want him at home. But I knew it was necessary for his safety and my health. The next day I took him to visit and I was happy to see that he adjusted well from the minute we walked in the doors. He went straight to the coffee pot and then to the birdcages and sat down and seemed content. He wasn’t upset like I had thought he would be. I was relieved but at the same time it tugged at my heart. The next couple of weeks I packed his things and we moved him in in February 2026. He adjusted quickly! (But I didn’t lol) The caregivers began to learn how to care for his specific needs, and the family bond and “feel” began!! The team is amazing when it comes to listening to family input and to tweaking the care plan until it’s perfect for your loved one! I think the adjustment is harder on us than it is on our loved ones. At least for me it was. I struggled with letting him go, with trusting that he was ok without me. It took me a couple of months to trust that he was thriving in his new “apartment”, that the staff adored him, and that we were both going to be ok! Let me add that the staff took care of me emotionally during this time too! They knew I was struggling with letting him go and they supported and helped me adjust!! Fast forward 7 months, and he now would rather stay “home” at Church of Christ than to come home with me for the day! Although that’s bittersweet at times, I can’t help but smile big knowing that he is HAPPY, CONTENT, COMFORTABLE, and most importantly LOVED and WELL CARED FOR by the amazing staff and management. They offer daily activities and monthly outings that he enjoys. Church of Christ keeps him engaged and busy, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision to make this his new home. It’s exactly what I wanted for him and if I could give 1 million stars I would! Please consider this home away from home for your loved one😊

CHRISTINA & SONYA are the 5 STAR Caregivers at Church of Christ Assisted Living. They should be on the welcoming tour! They are kind, professional, knowledgeable and funny. They are spirtual, family orientated and always working to make this place a little better for the residents. When a resident leaves here for an appointment, I see their faces as they return and they sit in the dining room as if to say, Ahh, I'm HOME! Now, isn't this a feeling you want your love ones to experience? Sometimes, they even share stories and pictures of their children and grandchildren. You know.....kinda like…

I could not ask for better care for my mother than this facility. including Nursing Home Rehab to Assisted Living. it’s reasonable, clean food was good and my mom was very happy. Staff was extremely pleasant as well. liked to thank Sonya and Christina on 3rd floor especially for their care.

My mother recently moved in and is in the assisted living section. The staff are very kind and attentive. The facility is clean and reasonably priced.

My sister stayed at Church of Christ Assisted Living for four days. That place was a two-floor story unit. The second floor wasn't even being used. My sister was the only one up there in that second unit all by herself. As you enter, there should be a person who directs you where you can go. Sometimes that person will be sitting at the desk, but a lot of times, you can't find a person. The place was pretty clean. The room was nice. Some assisted living facilities would tell you that you could bring your own furniture, but the Church of Christ Assisted Living provided a lot of the things we needed for my sister like bookshelves and chairs. So, everything was well set up, but we can hardly reach them at all when you need them. When my sister was having the seizure, my brother said they had to go around knocking on doors, trying to find somebody. It seems like the people there were not properly trained on how to handle a person who has a seizure. They only really have 1 or 2 nurses on staff. After a certain time at night, all you had was medical assistants who would do the work. As far as activities and stuff, that part was very good. I liked that they got my sister dressed, took her around to different activities, and kept her active.

I went on a tour at Church of Christ for my mother. Debbie and the team went above and beyond even for the tour and you can tell everyone on sight cared for the citizens there and knew all of them. The facility was very clean and well maintained. Only have positive things to say about the admin staff and facility. The room I toured in memory care had a nice bedroom and a living area separated by a half wall which is night to have that division but not full division. My circumstances changed at the last moment but def in the future when I will be in need again for the best care for my mother I know where to go.

This is a great community. My grandma was here and they took great care of her. the staff is nice and responsive.

This place is great and the staff is very friendly.
