From the day she moved in the staff were compassionate through all of her challenges. We found comfort in knowing that mom was cared for and safe. The staff became our extended family and provided loving care. The facility is clean and the décor is cozy and quaint. We were happy to know they go to great lengths to keep residents active and engaged. They have music, activities, celebrations and outings. When mom had visitors…

After our mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s the hardest decision we had to make was to move her to assisted living. We were so fortunate to find the Gilbert Residence. From the day she moved in the staff were compassionate through all of her challenges. We found comfort in knowing that mom was cared for and safe. The staff became our extended family and provided loving care. The facility is clean and the décor is cozy and quaint. We were happy to know they go to great lengths to keep residents active and engaged. They have music, activities, celebrations and outings. When mom had visitors we were warmly welcomed. Mom passed away peacefully from Parkinson's. I am grateful that she was in a loving and peaceful place when she passed to her heavenly home.

Could not be happier with the care my mother experienced at the Gilbert Residence. We had a poor experience at another facility and found the Gilbert Residence through care giver references. Initially impressed with the community-based not-for-profit status and then overwhelmed with the caring long-term staff. I truly believe that we had a few more quality years with Mum due to the environment at the Gilbert Residence.

We moved my Mom in to The Gilbert Residence last month. My experiences from the admission process, through the receiving end, have been professional, reliable, friendly & accommodating. The staff is caring towards the patient, as well as the family. The facility is clean & inviting. The activities are numerous & motivating. I feel confident that my Mom is comfortable, safe & being taken care of. Thank you!
The staff at the Gilbert Residence is very friendly and caring. Facility is always clean. The administrative team is always available and helpful. My mother feels very comfortable there and I feel that she’s in great hands.
That question is what I kiddingly tell people when they ask me about Gilbert Residence. Why, because the whole place (staff and residents) are always smiling. It is incredibly upbeat. Having toured 5 or 6 other facilities, this one took it by a mile with a smile. They have all the usual amenities, the facility is clean and well-maintained, the management is very attentive to having good care plans, etc. And again, it is simply a happy place and that is what my loved one deserves. Joy!
I believe all categories rate a 5 at Gilbert Residence Mom has been there for 3 years. She started at assisted living and moved to memory care after a year and a half. She turned 95 this August. [name removed] was my worker from a place for Mom. She was very helpful. We were asked by Gilbert to share a picture and testimonial for their web site. There have been a few instances where we had to bring an issue to the attention of management but we are so thankful for good communication. It is peace of mind when you have your loved one in a Good care facility.
