2.5 · 2 reviewsI would not recommend this facility to anyone. It is dark and dreary. They do not feed their residents enough food and most of it is canned. They keep a lock on the refrigerator. They get mad if you do not call before visiting and want you to only visit between the hours of 9 and 5. He had a confrontation with my brother when he showed up unannounced. The owner has listened in on our conversations with our loved one and called my loved one a liar when he said he fell. My loved one lost almost 30 lbs after being there only 6 weeks. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. It is dark and dreary. They do not feed their residents enough food and most of it is canned. They keep a lock on the refrigerator. They get mad if you do not call before visiting and want you to only visit between the hours of 9 and 5. He had a confrontation with my brother when he showed up unannounced. The owner has listened in on our conversations with our loved one and called my loved one a liar when he said he fell. My loved one lost almost 30 lbs after being there only 6 weeks. The owner also makes fun of a resident [removed] and we have caught him in many lies. I would not take my dog there. There are no activities there like promised. All the residents do is sit around and watch TV all day. Since we moved our parent out of there and into another facility he has improved dramatically. He is happy and content and glad to be out of Jane's Place
Talked to Director. said that he is in beginning stages, that they often just want to sit and watch tv but this place helps them to come out of it. Field trips, baseball games. helps to slow down progress
